"lets all go have a trip!" seungkwan yells. your finals just took an end and you were lounging at your boyfriend and bestfriends dorm. "lets go!!" you jumped happily. everyone nodded in agreement but your boyfriend. "i dont think i can make it, i have to mc for inkigayo" he looks at you and the boys apologetically. "aw" you pouted deep. "aw baby, dont be sad. you can go and have fun! seungkwan's going to be there" mingyu walks up to you hugging your waist. "yeah y/n. we are all going to be there!" soonyoung says. "if you all insist. it'll be boring without you tho" you turned to face mingyu. he then grabbed ahold of your hand and played with your fingers "dont worry and have fun okay?" and he kisses your forehead.

mingyu sent you and seungcheol back home and the ride was quiet. "whats wrong baby?" he held your hand. "im going to be so lonely. who am i going to cuddle for three days?" you pouted. "hey hey, dont be sad. you can always cuddle your brother" mingyu teasingly said. "yeah y/n. u can always cuddle me" seungcheol butts in making all of you laugh. "mingyu!" you teasingly punch him in the shoulder. "hey hey, im driving!" he playfully grabbed a hold of your wrist. "i love you." he says. "i love you most" and you arrived infront of your porch. "goodnight baby" you kiss his forehead. "goodnight" he kisses the back of your hand.

the next morning rolled by quickly and the boys were already waiting infront of your apartment. you and seungcheol bid goodbye to your mum and you guys made your way into the van. "hello everyone!" you and seungcheol bowed. you sat quietly next to your brother. the ride was annoyingly quiet and you couldn't stand it. you turn to face booseoksoon and started mischievously smirking at them. "booseoksoon and y/n talk!" and seungkwan started blabbering about stuff the whole way. the boys were silently just stifling laughters. "you guys should sleep. its getting really loud!" jihoon announces. "fine" seungkwan mutters making all of us chuckle.

the ride was long but pleasing. the view of the see was really nice and therapeutic. you wished mingyu was with you. you sighed deeply and texted him.

"babe!" you texted. "hi! where are you guys now?" he replied soon after. "we are reaching in a bout 2 hours. i feel so lonely without you. i would always hug you in long trips like this." mingyu could literally hear the pout over the text. "aw baby. im sorry. i promise we will have a long holi-date together alright? i have to go now. ill text you when im free! love you angel." you sighed and mentally replied him.

you guys arrived at a luxurious resort soon after and wow. it was one hell of a resort seungkwan booked. "move away, make way for the great and glorious boo seungkwan" seungkwan sassed his way through the crowd of 12 people. "here i present to you, our holiday resort!" he claps alone. "excuse me???? clap???" then everyone followed suit. you walked in to the resort just to quickly run upstairs and check out the rooms. "I CALL DIBS FOR THIS ROOM!" you yelled from the second floor. jeonghan then came upstairs, your brother following him. "hey no fair!" seungcheol whines. "its okay seungcheol. let her have this room, her boyfriend isnt here" jeonghan pats the older and you grin from ear to ear seeing seungcheol nodding in defeat.

[mingyu's POV]

i was on my way to the resort the boys and y/n are staying at. i was planning to do a surprise for y/n since i had to only do the mc-ing for one day. i decided to leave during the evening. so before i left for the resort i bought y/n a bouquet of flowers as a 'sorry for lying' gift.

i kept thinking how i should surprise her and if she was still awake. without hesitating i soon called her. "hey baby, how are you?" i asked. "lonely and tired" i could feel her pouting through the call. "aw, its just 2 nights baby. dont be so upset. i left my hoodie with your brother, you can go get it from him." i smiled. "you did?! hold on. ill go and get it" i could hear muffling movements of her asking seunghceol for my hoodie. "eep i got it!" i could hear her happily jumping. "im going to put it on okay?" you hummed in agreement. "alright angel. i need to prepare a frw things and i have to be off for bed, sweet dreams. ill see you in two days okay?" i smiled through the call. "alright. goodnight! i love you!" she says and hung up the call. i smile widely and couldn't wait to surprise her.

after a 4 hour long drive, i arrived at the designated resort seungkwan has booked. i then knocked on the door, peeping through the window seeing jun, minghao and chan watching tv. following after, the door was open. "hey my dudes!" jun pulled me into a brotherly hug. "shes already asleep" minghao says. "its okay, thanks for the info man. goodnight!" i say as i walked upstairs.

i slowly opened the door and saw her sleeping figure. i left the bouquet of roses on the dressing table and prepared myself for bed. not long after, i made my way onto the bed, dipping down slowly and pulling up the duvet on the both of us, spooning y/n in my embrace.
