Code Two: The unsolved case

"Case? W-why? She's not yet dead right?" She asked. Hope is visible on her voice. 

I nod. "Yep. It's just that Tita Divine, wanted to figure out who's behind, your sister Maddieson case."

"Argh. I'll make sure that bastard will rot in jail." She said. Anger is visible on her voice. 

"Looks like the past is hunting me.. not just me but us." I whispered while looking away and I can even feel my smirk that is plastered on my face.

"What past?" Demi asked. I looked at her with an emotionless on face with a smirk. 

"The past is hunting us. Looks like it's repeating itself. But the this is. I'm still involve." I murmured. 

"Like he said, 'Our past'" I added with a giggle. Ria and Demi stared at me. I just smile to them. "Don't mind me." I said as I shook my head. "By the way, Maddieson is in danger because, of the unknown drug that was given to her." I reminded.

She nod. "I know she will be okay."  

"I will also test her blood and the syringe." I added.

"What are you, really?" Ria asked. I can see the sparkle in her eyes.

"Human." I said bluntly. 

"Something is missing." I heard Demi whispered. I smirked. 

Yeah... probably. 

"I'll be heading to the precinct later." I mumbled. They looked at me. 

She nod. "Can I come with you?" Demi asked. My eyebrow creases. "I think, Melmel will be there." She added.

Melmel? Matthew? I shrugged. What a weird nickname. 

"Can I come too?" Ria girl asked. I rolled my eyes. 

"You can't Ria. You have your classes." Demi reminded. Ria rolled her eyes.

"I know how to ditch, Dems." she said. 

I sighed. "Just please, don't be a burden." I said as I rolled my eyes and stood up. I packed my things and get my frappe. 

"We won't!" They said in unison. I looked at them once again. 

"I hate shits." I added then walked away.

"Did you see her?! Oh to the Em to the Gee! F*cking hot!" narining ko pang tili ni Ria. I rolled my eyes. Really. I hate attention. 

Demi's point of view.

Ano kayang ibig sabihin niya 'dun? Medyo magulo e. Pero, may naririnig akong past. Hindi kaya nangyari na ito dati? But, how come? Sinong mga kasama? 

"Demian? Are you listening?" 

Seriously. Nacu-curious ako kanina sa sinasabi niya. What's wrong with that? May nahawakan na ba siyang kaso na parehas kay Maddy? How did it end up?
