Scarlett POV

Today's the day. Bruno drops his 4th album today and I believe it's amazing, and I'm not just saying that because he's my husband. He's worked his ass off and he deserves all the accolades he gets for it. He has an Ellen interview today and he insisted that I go on the show with him today. Kinda nervous about that since it would be my first talk show and Ellen is known to ask personal questions. I had no clue what to wear but Bru told me to dress casual so I threw on one of my cute little super expensive rompers that I got a while back and he wears his red silk shirt to match my color scheme.

We wait in the green room sipping a bit of the champagne that is left back here for us. He must've seen me acting a little strange because he takes it upon himself to comfort me. "Relax mama. If things get too personal for you, you can always just give me a look and I'll change the subject the best way I know how." He says and kisses my cheek. I take a deep breath as I finally look at him. "It's not that. It's just even though we've been together for a while, we've never been on a show or in the media publicly together. What if they don't like me?"
"Who cares about them? You know I'll always be there to defend you baby. No worries okay. Just relax and remember I'm gonna be with you the entire time." He pecks my lips and I instantly feel better. I give him a small smile as he brushes my hair out of my face. "Bruno you're on after this commercial break. Please follow me." One of the stage managers says as Bruno stands. He reaches his hand out to me and I take it as we walk through the tight hallways to the stage area. "Okay I'm gonna start on stage and then I'm gonna bring you out. Sound good or would you rather start on stage with me ?" He asks and I nod. "I'm fine with the original plan." I say knowing damn well I wanna start onstage with him but I don't want him to have to change the plan they already set. "Okay. I love you mama." He says as he pecks my lips walking out onto the stage meeting Ellen. "I love you too." I reply. I see him hug Ellen as they make small talk before the show starts back up. "Okay were on in 5, 4, 3, 2..." the director commands and Ellen begins talking. "And we back with the extremely talented, 11x Grammy winner, father, husband, and most importantly sex symbol, Bruno Mars !" She says introducing him and the crowd begins cheering. "God it feels like it's been forever since I've been here. Nice touch though adding the sex symbol." He says and the crowd begins laughing. "So how've you been ?" She asks "Well ya know I'm a father now so its life's been pretty hectic. I almost retired Music-wise."
"Really? It was that bad ?"
"Well yea when you have triplets who don't care that their father is an 11x Grammy winner and known as a living legend. All they care about it if I'll buy them some more toys. I'm starting to think they only love me for my money." He jokes and the audience begins laughing again. A picture of the triplets appear on the screen behind him and the crowd "awws". "There they are. My demons." He says and Ellen chuckles. "Ya know once I told you hat kids are demons and you didn't believe me. I tried to warn you." She says and he chuckles. "Ya know I should've listened." He says. The crowd literally laughs at everything they say. "Well what did keep you sane during this little hiatus?"
"Well it's less of a What and more of a Who. She's the same person who mothers my kids and who I fall asleep next to every night. She's actually the main inspiration for this album. WHICH is out today guys go download it on iTunes or buy it at regret if that's more your thing." He says and I begin blushing. "Oh I kept you sane Bruno. I had no clue." Ellen responds and Bruno starts laughing. "Yep. You were the one Ellen. You never let me down." He says giggling. "I'm guessing the woman is your wife." Ellen says and a picture of us kissing comes up on the screen. "Of course. I can honestly say she's the best thing that has ever happened to me. She my world and I couldn't have chosen a better woman to spend the rest of my life with." He finishes and the crowd gushes over him. "She's one lucky girl. Should we bring her out?" She says and my heart starts rushing. The audience starts cheering. "Scarlett come on out." She yells and I take a deep breath. I step out and walk towards the couch waving at the audience. I finally get to the seats and Ellen stands up and hugs me. I sit by Bruno and he pecks my lips and the crowd gushes again. "Wow Scarlett you look amazing. You have to be the most attractive couple we've had on the show. Minus Bruno." She says and we all laugh. "Hey I thought I was a sex symbol?" He says. "So Scarlett I'm actually really interested in how you two met."
"Actually Ellen it's a funny story. So I was working at the BET awards because I was COO at the time and they needed extra workers-
"And She was fine as hell" Bruno says cutting me off and everybody laughs. "Anywayssss Bruno would not leave me alone. I actually was not into him." I say changing the story a bit so no one knows that he was actually cheating on Jessica. "Yea She wouldn't give me the time of day. And I don't know why. Look at me, everybody was swooning." He says and I giggle. "Which was exactly the reason I didn't want you. Because I knew you were trying to get in someone's panties that night and they weren't gonna be mine." I say pushing him. "Fair enough." He says. "I gave him my number that night but I didn't go home with him. When I tell you guys he blew my phone up for the next two days trying to go out with me."
"Bruno ? Swooning over a girl ? What ?" Ellen says obviously amused. "Look She was hella fine. Of course I wasn't gonna let her get away from me." He says and the audience 'awws' "I finally went out with him a couple days later and we had a lot of fun. We honestly hit it off instantly. That date changed my life." I say and everyone swoons. "See now what would've happened if you kept ignoring me?" He says making the audience laugh again. "I would've been with somebody else. Because you know that's just how I am." I say and the audience claps and he smirks at me. "Yes I love that you keep him in check Scarlett." Ellen says. "Well nobody else does it. He acts all high and nightly with you guys but I have to humble him at the end of the day." I say smiling at him. "You see she's acting like this in front of you guys but at the house she knows who's in charge." He responds chuckling back at me. "I absolutely do. Because it's me babe. We just went over that." I say and everyone laughs again. "So you guys actually act like best friends. Like actually best friends not the ones that every couple claims to be."
"Well yea I feel like if you don't have a strong friendship with your significant other it's not gonna be as strong." He says as the crowd begin cheering. Our wedding picture pops up on the screen, the one with Spaghetti stains everywhere, and every one laughs. "Okay. So one day I saw this on Instagram and instantly was intrigued to know the story. Care to explain why both of you look like Carrie in your wedding photo." She says and we laugh. We both look at each other and Bruno speaks up. "I'll take this one. So after we had the kids we barely had time to ourselves and I decided to plan a date night for us, but of course I had an ulterior motive. So we go out and before I surprise her with our wedding at the lake we decide to stop and get some food.-
"But while we were there the waitress decided she wanted to try and steal my man but no ma'am I do not stand for that. She spilled spaghetti on my dress so I'd have to leave the table leaving her alone with Bruno. Then the little heifer wants to attempt to 'seduce' him-"
"As you all can see Scarlett wasn't for that so she sat on my lap spaghetti and all and made out with me letting the waitress know that I was hers." He finishes and everyone laughs.
"Yes I just basically had to let the little girl know that her tricks might work on the other boys she serves, but not this one." I say and everyone claps. "Scarlett you're very possessive. I appreciate that. But im scared that you might find out that me and Bruno have kissed before" Ellen says and I laugh at her "Well Ellen I'm tempted to now fight you. But I will forgive you and let that one slide." I say and everyone begins laughing. We have a lot of fun talking about our relationship and his album and finally it was time to talk about of life with the kids. "So you guys were 'not-so blessed' with triplets a minute ago. Tell us their names and personalities." We laugh as a picture of the triplets pop up behind us. "Well the one that's holding onto my leg is Jackson. He's super sensitive but also super thoughtful." I begin. "Bru's holding Hazel, our baby girl. She's such a daddy's girl it's not even funny. She used the to throw a fit if I wanted to do anything with Bruno that didn't include her. True Story." I say as the crowd begins laughing. "Junior is the one that basically not even paying attention to the picture. He's like a little man. He's super independent and he's a sweetheart. He acts exactly like me, dances like me, looks like me, but he likes Scar more." Bruno says and the audience laughs. "So when did you guys find out you were having triplets and what was your initial reaction ?" He looks at me. I already know he's wondering if I can talk about the miscarriages. I nod at him and he grabs my hand. "Well getting pregnant wasn't really the easiest thing in our marriage. We actually had 2 miscarriages before we found out we were pregnant with triplets." He says and the whole audience 'awws'. I instantly regret letting him talk about it. But he's already too far into the story now. I automatically feel like everyone's eyes and staring at me piercing me. "We were actually going to terminate our triplet pregnancy because we couldn't handle anymore miscarriages." He says as I grip his hand tighter. "Something about this pregnancy felt different so we decided to see where it would go. It was the best decision we made." I say and Bruno turns to me. "You okay ?" He whispers in my ear. He must've realized my discomfort by the shakiness of my voice. I nod back at him and he kisses my cheek as he Aye his hand on my back, rubbing it in circles to calm me down. "Aw I'm so sorry Scarlett. But at least now you have 3 healthy beautiful children that came from this." Ellen says and I give a small smile.
After the show Ellen gives me a hug as we get ready to leave. "I'm so sorry. If I would've known about it I wouldn't have brought it up." Ellen says and I nod. "No it's okay. I promise. It was amazing to finally meet you." I say smiling at her. "No the pleasure is all mine. I had to see who the girl was that had Bruno all in love." She says smiling at both of us. "Yea yea what ever" Bruno says as He gives Ellen a hug. We say our goodbye and leave out the back door into our chauffeured car. I thought I was acting normal until Bruno raised my chin. "I'm so sorry mama. It's my fault I shouldn't have spoken on it." I shake my head and giggle a little. "No Bru I swear it's fine."
"It's not baby. I know you and you're not okay." He says pulling me closer to him. "Anything I can do to make you feel better?" He says rubbing my thigh. I lay my head in the crook of his neck. "Can you just hold me baby ?" He says wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my forehead. He lays his head on mine and sings lightly to me. He knows this is where I feel the safest, the most comfortable. His musk fills my nostrils and the sound of his steady heartbeat instantly calms me down. I don't even realize myself drift off until I feel Bruno shake me. "Wake up mama. You can go back to sleep in the house." I hear him whisper. I slowly sit up and fluff my hair as he pecks my lips. "Cmon baby." He says opening he door and holding his hand out for me. I take it and walk out the car and follow him into the house. We walk in and silence greets us since the kids are out with Urbana and Zeppelin. He takes me up to our room and slowly strips me into my panties. I yawn as he hands me one of his shirts. I throw it on and lay in bed as he strips and lays next to me. He kisses my forehead as I drift off next to him again. "You feel better?" He asks. "Of course. You know this is my favorite spot. It fixes everything." I say with my eyes closed. "I love you baby boy." I say as he kisses my forehead. "I love you too mama. Get some rest the kids will be home in a couple hours." He says before I drift off.
