Heartbreak

Tear stained face,

why cant you care?

I'm out of place,

this is so unfair.

I'm hurt,

why aren't you?

I feel like I've been shoved to dirt,

you should be too.

I can't take this anymore,

why can't it be like before?

Just let it pour,

all your feelings out even more.

I would stop the thinking,

and we can be happy again.

I want my green light blinking,

and it's your message again.

I'd rather talk it out,

then throwing it all away.

They tell me to let go,

but it's just too hard.

Memories are beautiful like snow,

except the ones liked a ripped card.

Cryin' every night,

it's getting harder to sleep.

I love yet hate when you're in my sight,

Wanna speak of you not even a peep.

I feel like I'm breaking,

the pain of losing you.

I guess I just keep on faking,

like it just doesn't drill me through.

All I can do is hope,

just let go of the past.

Scrub away the scars with soap,

and just wish we would've last.
