Graycette.

Hamish walked to his classroom, put his bag down on the bench and sat down since it was too early to go to class.

A female, Asian child around the same age as Hamish approched him and sat down next to him. "I've never seen you here before" the child stated with an Australian accent clear in her voice."What's your name?".

"My name's Hamish, you just moved here from Australia didn't you?" Hamish asked with curiousity lacing his voice. "

Yeah I did, the accent gave it away didn't it. Oh well, my name's Graycette but everyone calls me Grace or Gracie".

"Interesting name".

"I know right? I don't think my mum was thinking right when she named me" Graycette rolled her eyes.

"It's time to go to class, the teacher's opened the door, come on!" Graycette grinned while clutching on his wrist and pulling him inside the classroom.

Hamish was greeted with a friendly 'hi' from the teacher whose name is Miss Olsen. "I'll show you where my desk is" Graycette smiled with her eyes sparkling.

'She looks really pretty when she smiles' Hamish thought when he once again got dragged away from where he was standing.

"I have a spare desk next to mine so I'll ask Miss Olsen if you could sit next to me".

"That would be nice seeing I don't have anyone I know exept you" Hamish whispered suddenly shy.

"Pssh, I think we're friends now, right?" Graycette asked while raising her eyebrows.

"I think we are" Hamish said regaining his confidence. "That's the spirit!" Graycette nudged Hamish in a friendly way.

"Miss Olsen! Could Hamish sit next to me since I have a spare desk next to me!" Graycette squeeled harldly containing her exitement.

"Of course dear, but could you keep your voice down" Miss Olsen begged.

"You British people are too quiet" Graycette joked.

"I often wondered about that" Hamish said with his voice drifting off. He suddenly came back to normal when he saw Graycette clicking her fingers infront of his face.

"Kids, get into your seats, it's time for class"...

Graycette is pronounced Grace-ett just to that clear up.
