A perfect day out

"You know what love, You're impossible" Arnav said once they were comfortably tucked inside their bed. Khushi was lying with her head on his chest and arms wrapped around his torso, While Arnav stroked her hair

"I know... That's why I'm here with you Arnav" Khushi said

"She should've known." Arnav insisted again

"Oh, There we start all over again Arnav. Where would it take us, If she knew? She'd be hurt only... Thinking it's her fault that we landed in this situation. She's already sad thinking she treated me wrong" Khushi said

"Which she did"

"Okay Granted love. But why are we even talking about Di in our bed. An evil shadow is finally out of our lives... Including Di's We, And especially you really need to calm down, And concentrate on our life for once!" Khushi said

"Are you really my Shona? The Khushi I know doesn't talk like that" Arnav said

"Arnav... I-"

"Hey... That doesn't mean I don't like it. Just curious"

"Whatever has happened in these months... Scares me Arnav. I was on the verge of losing you a few months back, Losing you... Arnav, I want to be selfish... At least when the family isn't around" Khushi said

Arnav smiled and kissed her forehead. "You have all the right to be selfish love. Coz I'm all yours"

And with that Arnav placed her lips lightly on hers, Khushi closed her eyes feeling love surging through her body

"Don't... Stop." Khushi whispered pulling him into herself as He deepened the kiss more.

After a few minutes... They unwillingly parted in need of air.

"I don't know what I'd do without you"

"Me neither"

"You're the best thing to have happened to me love" Arnav said while Khushi resumed her place in his embrace

"The feelings are mutual" Khushi said smiling

"You know what Shona.. You're taking a day off tomorrow" Arnav said suddenly

"Hmm... Why?"

"Because I won't let you go to the office tomorrow. I want my wife all by myself for one day" He said

The next Morning

Khushi woke up due to the sunrays entering the room through the French window of the room. Khushi buried her face in the pillow to avoid the light

"Arnav... Please get up and do the curtains. I'm sleepy" She murmured while her face was still buried in the pillow.

Silence.

"Love... Please The sun's disturbing me" She murmured again

Silence

"Arnav" Khushi sat up looking around the room finding herself alone in a room filled with all kinds of chocolates and toffees... Teddies... Her favorite Red and white roses and a note

Jaan... I just realized that we missed the whole Valentine week!! Including the V-Day. I know... I know you don't believe in Valentines. But neither do I. But how does that matter. You love chocolates.
You can't say no to Teddies. No girl can!!
You adore those white roses.
And I adore the red blush that happens to come on your face whenever I come to you with a bouquet.
So Here I am... With all this, Two days after Valentines... Wishing you a very happy Valentines day.
I know a letter without the sender isn't that good is it? But just a few more minutes. Look around. Apart from the chocolates Teddies and roses, There's something else too
