The three awkwardly walked on the sidewalk. One is that they all didn't fit side by side so they made Chan walk in front. Two, Chan did not like being around the two. He felt inferior when it came to their beauty and age so he pouted the whole way.
Seungcheol and Jeonghan instantly clicked and would seem like longtime best friends to a passerby. Chan only felt like a kid all over again.
Luckily for Chan, the cafe was only a five-minute walk from his classes' hall. As the group inched closer to it, Chan turned on his heel and nearly fell over since the older two didn't stop in time. "Oh- my lecture is in that building. Bye?" Chan said as he backed away slowly.
If Chan were to be honest, he felt extremely out of place when it came to hanging out with anyone that weren't his own friends or Minghao. Chan graduated from high school early but kept in contact with all his friends. He and Minghao were both freshmen, so there wasn't much of a gap. But for the life of him, Chan couldn't find himself really clicking with upperclassmen. How Minghao was able to do it really baffled him.
Seungcheol and Jeonghan switched their gazes between a fast-walking Chan and each other. "Ah kids, they're always a little weird." Jeonghan stated and laughed a little. "Maybe he just really had to pee." Seungcheol said and shrugged.
The two eventually made their way to the library, the warm air inside hitting them upon opening the doors. Jeonghan made his way to the front desk while Seungcheol went to find his needed books.
"Hey, Seungkwan. Can I borrow your house key? I couldn't find mine anywhere and the last thing I need is all of you locking me out and pretending to be asleep." Seungkwan laughed at this. "That only happened once. And you know Hansol and I were already asleep! Plus I'd give you my key but Hansol lost his too."
"Fine, I'll just call Josh and Wonwoo over and over until someone opens up. Also, when you finish here please go get three more copies of the house key. And make sure Hansol gets home before the frat boys come out. Love you." Jeonghan turned on his heel to go find Seungcheol. Seungkwan only said "yes sir!" before going back to collecting returned books.
Jeonghan found Seungcheol talking to Hansol at a table. He slipped into a seat next to Hansol and the latter smiled at him. "Hey Hannie. How's it goi-" "Don't lose your house key again or I'll make sure that you get locked out the next time you come home drunk without anyone walking you. My day was fine thank you." Jeonghan had interrupted Hansol.
Hansol sat back in his chair. "Sorry Jeonghan." He said with a pout. "Woah you guys are roommates?" Seungcheol questioned. "More like housemates. Our house is too small for six people." Hansol huffed out.
Their house was a moderate size for a family. Except that there were only four bedrooms and two bathrooms, there were two to a room and three to a bathroom. The extra room was bet off once a month and the victor had a room to themselves. And well their roommate too.
"You only say that since you've always had a roommate. Maybe you'll win next weeks bet." Jeonghan said to the younger. Seungcheol was amazed by this. Jeonghan sounded like he was Hansol's mother, and Seungcheol assumed that he had that authoritative power over everyone else in their house.
"Anyways sorry to interrupt you two, I just had to scold Hansol and to tell you that I'm heading to class now." Jeonghan turned his attention to Hansol. "You get home early and listen to Seungkwan or I'll be sure he locks you out." He gave him a stern look before smiling it away and giving Hansol a small hug. "I'll see you around Seungcheol. You get home early too." Jeonghan waved goodbye.
Seungcheol truly was amazed. He was the oldest out of his housemates, but he never was protective of them like that. "How does he have so much power over you guys?" He asked Hansol.
"It's so annoying sometimes, really only when he has an audience. I mean it's not bad because he's only looking out for us. Plus if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be here on campus. But I wish that he wouldn't nag me like a mom yannow?" Seungcheol only nodded.
Jeonghan truly was something else to Seungcheol.
I'm so hungry right now oh my god
