"Ha! I'm gonna win!"
It was another of those sunny autumn days when me and Misty, my best friend, had a video game battle. We were playing Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed (it's my fave Sonic game, so yeah) and I was in the lead, Misty LITERALLY ON MY TAIL, in second place.
"Oh yeah? Take this!" Misty launched a firework at me and I immediately slowed down.
I was jumping up and down, shaking the controller as if it was gonna make me go faster.
"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!" I muttered. Soon, Misty's car was RIGHT next to mine! The finishing line was black and white pixels but before I knew it, the line was right ahead of us. We both shrieked as both our characters zoomed across the finish line and 'FINISHED' appeared onto the screen.
It must've been SUPER close because I finished 1st and Misty 2nd.
"But how? We finished at the same time!" I exclaimed.
Just then, our timings came up: mine was 3:02:75
Misty's was also 3:02:75
"Oh my gawd! Same timing!" We both squealed excitedly.
Misty's grey and baby blue tail was wriggling about while my F/C hair was bouncing as I hopped.
"That. Was --"
"Fun?" I asked.
"Yeah, but, wasn't that intense?"
I nodded. We decided to go grab an ice cream. Who cares if it was cold? We both got a lifetime discount to Ice Cream Dream. It was honestly, the best place ever!
