In Love With My Bestfriend

Chapter 1.

Jocelyn's POV

We walked in school hand in hand. The boys stared at me like I was candy but it didn't bother me. Derricks arm around me tightened but I locked my hand with his to calm him down. He smiled and his grip on me eased. Works every time. "Sorry lovebirds but emergency best friend meeting!" Said my best friend Samara.

I waved to Derrick as I rushed off with Samara. We were going to the locker room. When I got there Kyra, Olivia, Sydney, Arriana, Shakira, Karina, Simone, and Lacy. "What's all this about?" I Asked my group of friends. Usually for a "group meeting" only a few of us would be there but only all of us would go if it was very important.

"Well firstly, Savanna changed the dates for today's games because it's supposed to snow tomorrow!" Said Olivia. I put my finger up, motioning for her not to go off. Someone would get hurt if she did. "I Know! The games tonight instead of tomorrow! I can't believe I have to go home on my free period now to get my cheer things." Said Kyra being the little worrywart she is.

"I know! She said it's supposed to snow in the middle of August! Who does she think she's fooling?" Said Sydney. I sighed. "Savanna's a trick, and her so called real blonde hair is just fucking weave," Said Arriana making us all laugh. She was kinda stuck between goth and prep but, atleast she still believe in the lord.

"Anything else girls? We'll be late for class  if we don't hurry." "Nope. Just wanted to make sure you girls had your cheerleading outfit on before Savanna sees you. She said she's kicking people off the team because she sent a message out this morning." Said Samara. "Bitch." Muttered Arriana as we grabbed our bags and walked out.

"Hey," said Derrick as soon as I walked to my locker. I smiled. "You waited?" I asked. He nodded. I smiled wider. "You want me to take you to get your cheer outfit on free period?" He asked. Me and him had free period together along with all my other friends. Major coincidence I guess. "How did you know I had to get my cheer outfit?" I asked.

He shrugged. "Because I just found out we had a game and I know my girlfriend that well." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Sure but, you don't have too. Me, Kyra, Samara, Olivia, and Sydney are the only ones that forgot our outfits. Everyone else brought their bag with them." I said. "But I wanna take-" the bell ring cutting him off. I reached on my top toes to kiss him but he lifted me the rest of the way up.

"I'm going with the girls and that's final! See you in fourth period!" I said since that's the only class I have with him. I walked away and down the hall. Shakira, Arriana, Karina, Simone, and Lacy were in my first class. I sat down at my table which was with Shakira, Arriana, Kaitlyn, Lacy and Simone.

Class went by in a breeze and it was time for third period. Which was my free period. So far I've avoided Savanna all day. Just had to make it out the door and then if she sees me I'll be in my cheer outfit. Me and the girls all filed into Sydney's truck. Sydney turned the radio on and on came one of our favorite songs: One wish by Ray J.

"If I had one wish we would be best friends, love would never end, it would just begin!" Me and the girls sing along. "I wish I could have a romance," sighed Samara. I smirked. "I heard Tony has a crush on you." She blushed. "For real?" I nodded. "Ask him out," Said Kyra. "Or I will!" Added Olivia.

"Hey! He's mine!" She said. Olivia shrugged. "I don't see your name on him." She said as their bickering began. They've never gotten along because I met Olivia in third grade and then she moved away and then in fourth grade I met Samara and we've known each every since then. Olivia only just moved back here two years ago.

I rolled my eyes as Sydney pulled up at my house. "See ya guys in like five minutes." I said closing the door and walking up to my house. I unlocked the door and was met with loudness. "What the- Ow!" I complained as a you hit my head. Guess I didn't say this earlier but, I have 13 siblings.

Alex was the oldest who is 29, then their was Alexandra who is 27, Alexia who is 26. The reason I think they have A names is because they all have the same dad unlike the rest of us. Really all of us have the same letter name as our siblings that have the same dad. Next was Diana whose 25, and Diamond whose 23.

Then there's the twins, Jada and Jade who're 22, then there's Jordan whose 20, Jacob whose 18, then there me, Jocelyn, whose 17. After that we have the teen siblings. Kiara whose 15 And Kane whose 13. Then we have Hakeem whose 10, Aiden whose 8, and Kayla whose 6. They all have the same dad but different letter names. Weird I guess. Currently Hakeem, Aiden, and Kayla's dad is married to our mom.

"Sorry Josh!" Said Aiden. "Would you stop calling me that? My names Jocelyn!" I say. "Stop yelling!" My mom yells from the kitchen. I roll my eyes. "Why are you guys home anyway?" I ask. "Half day, Kiara and Kane are home too." Says Kayla. Okay, I can deal with that. Kiara and I share a room.

"Hey Josh! Can we goto the football game today?" Asks Aiden. "Yeah sure, I don't care. I'll drive you all if Diana lets me use or truck. Ask her for me Kay?" I ask. They nod and run into the kitchen. They run back out with Diana's keys. Hakeem throws them and I catch them. "Tell her I said thanks, I'm in a hurry." I say running up the stairs.

I run back down in my uniform. I kiss my moms cheek and hug my step dad. I'm really used to him. He's been around ever since Hakeem's been born. "I'm heading out. And tell everyone if they come to the game they have to be ready when I come back. Bye!" I say.

Sydney was out there when I got back. "Is your cute brother home?" She asks and I laugh. "Syd, my brother is 18!" I say. She shrugs. "So? Jacob's hot! Almost as hot at the Jacob in twilight." She says making me roll my eyes. "Hey! He's mine too!" Says Samara as I laugh. "I thought Tony was yours?" I ask.

"Well Tony is mine but so is Jacob." She says. "Sorry sweetheart, you gotta pick one." Says Syd as she stops at Olivia's house and honks the horn. Olivia comes out a few seconds later and sits in the front seat.

Syd turns the radio on and on comes Mesmerize by Jah Rule and Ashanti. "Those lips those eyes!" Sings Samara in Jah Rules voice as we all laugh. Little did I know I'll be laughing a lot more soon.
