The true city of romance. We had an absolute blast today. No one cares, as we weren't even the only foreign elderly couple there! We made some great friends, Adam and Sue were their names. It was their 65th anniversary, Adam had Alzheimer's, so they wanted to do this before his body was not really his anymore.
I don't know why, but after meeting them, something kind of clicked, ya know? Something made me look at my phone.
Nothing was there though.
And let me tell you youngns' when I looked up again, all that was around me was him.
My husband who died a few years prior. I remember now, that's why I got all these stares.
But you know what, atleast I know he'll always be with me.
