Max's POV

'I- I'm sorry, Max. I have to leave," my girlfriend of one year stuttered.

"But... just because you're moving doesn't mean it won't work!" I tried to get her to change her mind.

"I'm moving like, six hours away! Please, just don't make this any harder than it has to be," she stood up and began to walk away from me.

"Lillie! Lillie, wait!" I yelled after her.

She didn't even look back.

I felt tears come into my eyes as I watched her disappear from my sight for the last time.
