I Am I Can I Will
I am an eye in the oblivion.
I am irenic when lost in my own mind. Yet assail and baste when found and enslaved like the untamed brute I am reputed to be.
I can look and act like I am here. I can be told to be myself yet bound to a tight leash that keeps me hidden in the shadows.
I will one day break the leash that is concealed from everyone's eyes but mine. I will be an inspiration, start an innovation, change the nation.
Because I know I AM who I CAN that I WILL.

PoetryThis is an original series of poems written in 2014 but later taken down. As of 2017 I have updated, added pictures, and republished them. These poems have underlying, if not obvious, themes of depression, self-harm, suicide, and heart break.
