"Okay, i'll get dinner started."

"I'll help, Rei." said Yomiko enthusiastically.

"Thanks, Yuu."

"Me, too." scootch Miyoko.

"Hehehe...No nibbling as we go along, Miyoko.

"Err...let me think about it..."

"Ehehehehe..."

As soon as we get back, everyone starts getting dinner ready.

"I'll help too, Reimako." i said casually as i approach the kitchen counter.

"Huh? Oh..."

Reimako looks surprised at my suggestion.

"Thank you, Mina."

But then she quickly smiles happily again.

"You say that, but can you cook?" said Yuu with her suspicious looks.

"Just so you know, i been cooking for myself for a long time, of course, i know how to cook and i know i few recipes as well," i said confidently while puffing my chest.

"Can you tell salt and pepper apart?" uttered Miyoko while giggling.

"I'm not you Miyoko, of course, i can."

"Hey! What's that suppose to mean!"

"Ehehhehehe."

Watching us, Rei giggles.

(God...I wanna protect that smile.)

After that.

We begin getting dinner ready right away.

"Ok, first of all, let's get all the kitchen utensils and tableware we need out."

I do as she says, and start getting the utensil we need.

(So...the kitchen knife, and chopping board.)

"Will these bowls be alright, Rei?" asked Yomiko.

"Hmn, I think we might need a slightly bigger one."

"Ok, Are there any bigger bowls over there, Miyoko?"

"Big bowls...let me see...here we go."

"That's a rice bowl, Miyoko."

"We can't put pasta at the rice bowl now can't we, Miyoko." as i looked at her smugly.

"Well...we can, we can put the pasta into anything." she retorted.

"Really, now i don't see you putting pasta in your pocket."

"S-Shut up, Mina..." she retorted embarrassing.

"Ahaha come on get it together, Miyoko." giggled Yomiko.

"ehehehehe." Rei giggled as well.

There were some hiccups during our shopping trip, but getting dinner ready was going smoothly.

I found myself thinking...

(I'd gotten used to living on my own, making dinner together with everyone like this is good fun, though.)

"Mina...?"

"Are you crying?"

"Huh! Oh no, it might be the onions, ehehehe." i said while wiping my manly tears with the collar of my shirt.
