We run around for a little while, until we're tired and out of breath. then we go inside and have something quick to eat, we share some kraft dinner. after that we go into My room, I sit on my bean bag chair and Lanna sits on my bed. I hear vibration come from Lanna's phone that had been returned to her earlier,
"who is it?" I ask, assuming it was a text from someone.
"my sister, she's asking where I am" Lanna answers typing her reply to her little sister.
"Oh, you gonna tell her or gonna make something up?" I ask her.
"I'll just tell her I'm spending a few days with my old best friend Krystal," she tells me
"Oh," I say
"Yeah," she says, then mumbles "kool-aid man........"
I start laughing hysterically, I didn't even know it was that funny but I guess I just needed a good laugh. She smiles at me then looks back at her phone.
"Wanna do prank calls?" She asks me with a devious facial expression
"Uh.. yes!" I say grinning
"Ok, who do you wanna call first?" She asks
"Hmm... MacDonalds... Ooh call in sick and say your names Brittney " I answer slowly
"Ok," she says typing in the number giggling and putting the phone on speaker. Someone picks up
"Hi! You've reached MacDonalds how can I help you?" An over happy girl answers
"Umm.. hi its Brittney I can't come into work today.. I'm really sick," Lanna says to the woman in a weird voice
"Ok let me get the manager" the girl answers, Lanna looks at me wide-eyed
"Hello?" Another woman says over the phone
"hi its Brittney I can't come into work today.. I'm really sick" Lanna says again to the new woman
"Is this Brittney M?" She asks
"Yeah," Lanna says quietly
"Oh sorry you don't sound like you," the woman says
"Oh.. its because I'm like really sick," Lanna says looking at me
"Ok, so where are you stationed?" She questions
"What?" Lanna answers not knowing what to say
"Like where are you working like what part" She explains
"Umm in the drive-thru," Lanna says nervously
"Brittney M doesn't train in the drive-thru," the woman says angrily
"Oh, I'm not?" Lanna says fairly scared looking
"No, she's not so who are you?" The woman answers unamused. Lanna slowly hangs up the phone and sets it down.
"who next?" I say exited for the next call, I really wanna do the talking this time.
".........subway," she says after a long pause
"Yes!" I say already thinking of what to say. we dial the number and call,
"Hello this is subway, why are you calling?" an Indian sounding woman answers
"Hello, I have found a pineapple in my sandwich," I say with a Pakistani accent
"oh well we do not carry pineapple in my restaurant" she answers
"well I found one in my sandwich," I say
"oh well, what sandwich did you buy?" she asks
"I bought a meatball sandwich" I answer her. she continues asking me questions like what time i came in and stuff like that, after I hang up we continue our prank calls. we put a movie on and Lanna falls asleep on my shoulder again, I fall asleep not long after. and.............
