on the seventh day,

calum was already on the bridge waiting for me.

“what took you so long?”

he called as i stepped out of the fog.

“i was beginning to think you wouldn’t come.”

i loved it,

the worry in his voice.

it was so refreshing to feel like somebody actually cared,

like they noticed.

i shrugged,

i really didn’t know what took me so long.

“well, i brought my favorite john green book.”

“oh, really?” i raised my eyebrow.

“yup, and im going to read it to you, so sit.”

and, of course, i sat.

yours,

drea.
