About the Author

Dr. Richard Ing was born and raised in Hawaii.  He is the founder and senior pastor of Light of the World Missions in Honolulu and also, Light of the World Mission – Philippines (“LOWMP”) in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines, with branches in Davao City, Pulo and Timbao.  LOWMP also operates a Mission House, Vocational Training Center and Bible College.  He and his wife, Bea, have traveled to the Philippines over forty times.  He is the author of Spiritual Warfare, published by Whitaker House and translated into Spanish.  Other books published by him include Waging Spiritual Warfare (Whitaker House), As the Morning Spread Upon the Mountains, Spiritual Warfare II, The True Meaning of Christmas and Satan's Beauty and the Beast.  Spiritual Warfare For Marriage is due to be released by Whitaker House in 2015.  He has also authored teaching manuals on Spiritual Warfare, Inner Healing and Establishing House Churches and Centers, all of which can be downloaded for free from his website: www.lightoftheworldmissions.com.  He graduated from the University of Hawaii (BS - civil engineering), Hastings College of the Law (Jurisdoctor), and New Covenant International Bible College and Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry).  He was voted the most outstanding member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at Hastings, in 1965.  Besides practicing law for forty years,  he also owned and managed four businesses and is the vice president of New Covenant International Bible College and Theological Seminary.

He has given spiritual warfare seminars, inner healing workshops, and crusade meetings multiple times in countries such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Sarawak, mainland China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Singapore, India, Guam, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Philippines and in various states in the USA.  He became a born-again Christian at forty-five years of age and an ordained minister six years later.  He has been married to his first sweetheart, Beatrice, for over fifty years and they have four children and seven grandchildren.
