If Only ⇢ Kai x Ein

⇢ Chapter 10

"Don't worry babe, I'll go first and then you follow, okay?" Jax planned, and started sprinting over to where Michi was, but not before smiling at Ryder.

Once Jax reached the back of the aeroplane. Ryder started furiously sprinting after him, and ran straight into his arms once he reached.

"Uhh.. So I'll go first?" Ein said to me, causing me to look at him

"Yeah, sure, go ahead" I said awkwardly and smiled, as he began running over to the trio.

I was feeling less scared about this since they all made it past without being seen, so I ran straight away without hesitating, and I reached the place they were all hidden.

"Wow, it's been so long since I've felt this rebellious!" Ryder exclaimed in amazement.

"Shush guys! We have a problem!" Michi stated and pushed us all into the back of the plane. I guess you could call this the boot of a plane, just like a car has a boot, except this was much bigger and darker.

"There's only three boxes currently in here, but we need to hide in these before more security guards come in to load more otherwise we'd be caught!" She shrieked dramatically, before running towards one of the three wooden crates and hopped in it, closing it.

"Ugh, this is going to be so uncomfortable since the crates aren't that big!" Jax complained but walked towards the box and opened the lid, only to reveal a short supply of clothing items.

"How about I share a box with Ryder, and you share a box with Ein?" Jax said, directly to me.

Nervous sparks suddenly went off inside of me, I don't know why. It's not like this was a big deal or anything, It might just be slightly uncomfortable for us physically is all. However, I knew I had to do it, for our sake.

At this, we all nodded as Ryder skipped over towards Jax and awkwardly entered the box with him, having to squeeze up against eachother because of the limited amount of space.

"Do you wanna get in first?" I asked Ein as we approached the box.

"Yeah, s-sure" He stuttered and squeeze down into the box, putting his knees up to his chest, as I also repeated his action.

Although our knees were to our chests, we still had barely any room in this petit box, so our bodies were squished together.

"Heh, this is quite a tight squeeze" I laughed. Wow, Kai, way to be obvious.

"Yeah, it is but I'm sure the ride won't be long, I'm sorry if it's uncomfortable" Ein laughed and looked at me.

"Nah, it's all good I just hop-" I started, but quickly shut my mouth when I heard footsteps and deep voices approaching the plane.

At this, Ein quickly lifted his arms up and shut the box's lid before the security guards could enter.

"Man, I swear these boxes get heavier every year!" An unfamiliar voice said as the sound of box being put down and pushed echoed throughout the boot.

Oh god, I hope the box he was pushing wasn't any of ours.

But my, it had to be, these were the only boxes in here.

"Sometimes I always get curious and want to open the box to see what these passenger keep in here." Another voice joked, as more footsteps could be heard.

"Yeah, but at the same time I don't want to loose my job, that's the beep test people's job." A deep voice exclaimed while laughing slightly.

"True, I bet they have bowling balls in them."

"Who in the world brings bowling balls to Starlight Wonderland"

"I don't know, bowlers?"

At that, the sound of more boxes being placed around the room and boxes being pushed out of the way concluded, causing the security guards to leave and shut the large boot door, making a latching sound.

"Is everyone okay?" I heard Michi's faint voice suddenly ask.

"Yeah!" Jax and Ryder both said

"Yeah, how long do you think this ride will be?" I asked, already bothered by the cramp that was easing up in my shins, and the strange butterflies that still were in my stomach.

"Michi doesn't think it'll be that long" Michi replied

"Yeah, that's what you said about the car ride here" I mimicked, causing Ein to giggle slightly, making my heart flutter. What a beautiful sound.

Michi just hissed in reply, as the rest of the ride was fairly silent, everyone probably speaking amongst themselves.

Once around 20 minutes had passed, we could finally feel the plane begin to lift off of the ground, and into the air, ready for our journey to Starlight Wonderland.

"Hey, are you still sure about this?" I decided to ask Ein, just to make sure. Even if it was a little stupid, since there's no turning back now that we're already in the air.

He giggled in reply "Yes Kai, I'm 100% sure about this, and that won't change." He said sincerely, and that was the last thing said for a while.

No update in a while rip, I really need to make an updating schedule! I haven't lost interest in this book at all, so don't worry!! I have so many ideas for it, thank you for your neverending support, sorry it took so long!! I published two chapters to make up for it xo
