Sitting in daylight,
still missing something,
as I open my eyes
find darkness.
Wondering about how I sit in daylight
but still see darkness.
As I understand the situation,
I find myself in thought
not of sitting in daylight
but finding darkness all around.
Asking for help,
Screaming for help.
No one hears me,
No one understands me,
Sitting in daylight
but finding darkness.
What this daylight could be
as I look around.
I find myself sitting with a group of friends,
My family sitting next to me,
Still wondering why I only see darkness.
As I analyze the situation,
I find that the darkness is nothing,
but being avoided by my friends and family,
becoming the point of a joke.
I don't know what to say regarding this situation.
But still I find myself sitting in daylight,
but finding darkness all around...
