It was the first day of college. I was expecting that people here would be all.....nerds you could say.

I had gotten into this college because of the sports scholarship which I had received a month ago.

All my teachers seem to be good. Mrs. Brie, the Headmistress, was a little.....weird.I made a lot of friends the first day itself. Everyone was very kind and I seemed to be gelling with them pretty good. I've got a group of boys for Football now, and I am selected to be their leader. The coach has told us to start our practice for a match next month. I have been given a lot of responsibilities though I'm a new student. But it's a welcoming feeling that they give, as if I have been with them for a long time. In our lunchtime, we took a table to ourselves; the football team and I. We discussed and strategized for our upcoming match. And after college planned to meet on the field. By the time my last class finished, I was late. But when I went to look for my team in the field, they were already warming up. I was looking forward to show them some of my techniques I had learnt. I am blessed to see the enthusiasm and the eagerness they have in themselves to learn new techniques.

After practice, I came back home to find my mom baking one of my favorite cookies. What a day!!Can't everyday be like this one..... I find myself wondering. As usual, she asks me how my day went, how am I finding my new college, how the football practice went and so on......

Going upstairs to my room I noticed that on my bed, was a blue box with my name written on it.

I went down to ask mom if she had kept it their but she said she didn't know what I was talking about. So,I went back to my room and opened the box to find myself astounded by the contents of it. There was a black leather jacket which I had always wanted but couldn't afford to buy and with it was a DSLR camera. I had always loved to capture moments like that of our beautiful garden back in Florida. My sister is 5 years elder to me but is still my partner-in-crime in everything I do.Unanticipatedly, in my hands came my white colored cat, Rosalie and I snapped out of the memories of my childhood.

That's when I realized a note lying in the leather jacket's pocket. It was written by my sister, Katherine. Oh My God!!!!!! My sister!!!"Which means she is back from her trip to Paris."I thought out loud. She had gone to attend a programme held in Paris as a guest speaker. She is now a professor of English Literature in Cambridge. I rush out to check in her room. Like old times, I find her brushing her long silky brown hair; identical to mine, in front of her vanity."Oh My God!! You have to stop scaring me, Jason!!" she said in her husky voice. "We have a lot to catch up." she said. And then she went on to talk about her trip to Paris and what all shopping she did there and how the programme went. She told me of a gentleman she came to know as Harry during the programme and that he would be visiting us after a couple of day.
