Simon's POV
I woke up on my dressing room couch, still wearing my clothes from yesterday. I reached for my phone and looked at the time. 9AM. I wasn't needed here until 12:30PM, so I decided to stay inside my room until then.

After about 30 more minutes I got a call from Piers.

"When do me and Amanda have to me at the final today?" He asked.

"Around 2PM, but you don't have to stress. Just text me when you two are ready and I'll send a car to get you." I said.

"Thanks! I also don't know what's up with Amanda today. We had breakfast earlier and whenever I tried to talk to her she just drifted of mid conversation. She in like her own weird little bubble. So I was thinking maybe you could talk to her later? You are closer to her than anyone." Piers said and I bit the inside of my cheek trying not to break down again.
Should I tell Piers? No definitely not.

"I'll see if I can get a hold of her before tonight." I said, but didn't make any promises.

Piers hung up and I put my phone on the floor again before sitting up on the couch. I rubbed my hands over my face and went over to my makeup table. Why did I tell Amanda everything? I slammed my fist on the table and my can of oxygen fell down on the floor. I wasn't going to cry, and Amanda hadn't done anything wrong, so I couldn't be mad at her. Of course I understand that she didn't want to cheat on Chris, but that guy was absent from her life and I was always the one to be there to support her. I would try to act normal around her today, but it would be tough. But it was only for one day. I could do this. And then after this season has ended I'll just find a girl who only wants me for my money who can make me forget about Amanda.

30 minutes went by and I was still sitting looking at myself in the mirror when I heard a know on the door. I didn't really want to talk to anyone right now so I ignored it but the person wouldn't stop knocking.

"Who is it?" I yelled kind of irritated.

The knocking stopped and I heard a familiar voice coming from outside.

"Si, it's me." It was Amanda.

She was the person I least wanted to talk to, but I couldn't stop myself from standing up and walking over to the door and putting my hand on the handle. I hesitated a bit before I opened just to see an exhausted Amanda standing outside.

"Are you alright?" I asked, looking at her.

"Yeah, I just.. I fell asleep quickly but woke up and hour later and I've been awake since then, but I wanted to talk to you." She answered.
"If you would let me, of course." She continued and looked down at the floor.
I did want to talk to her, but I was also scared.

"Sure step inside, I guess." I said and motioned for her to come inside. She stepped past me, still looking at the floor and stopped in the middle of the room as she saw the can on the floor.
She walked over to it, picking it up.

"What's this?" She asked and gave me questioning look with a smirk.

"It's umm.. it's a can of oxygen. I always bring it with me." I said, blushing a bit.

"That's weird." She said and giggled as she put the can down on my table again.
"Well.." she continued.
"..I just wanted to say that I wasn't completely truthful to you last night, and it might just be that I'm delirious from the lack of sleep, but I really, really, really like you Simon, and I'm sorry if I hurt you yesterday. I'm so sorry for not telling you the truth which is.." She took a deep breath and looked deep into my eyes.
"..I love you, Simon Cowell, and I would love for us to happen, no one needs to know about it, just you and I." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but it was also everything I had ever wanted, so I acted on my instincts, grabbing her face with my hands crashing my lips against hers, taking her by surprised. She soon embraced the kiss and deepened it, grabbing me around the waist making the space between us minimal.
I parted only to catch my breath and looked down at her. She looked right back at me and kissed me again.

"I've waited for this for so long, Mandy." I said and she giggled into my chest and pulled me even closer to the point where at one point I could feel the baby kick.

"No one can know about this." She said.
"Not Piers, not Chris, no one."

"It'll be our secret." I said and kissed the top of her head.
