Hi Jayde it's so good to have you back on the show

No, thank you for having me! I haven't done a radio interview in so long. Especially live and in Toronto before

It's different hey! It's cold, how do you like it though?

Just a little bit different which I love, but I'm use to it now. My apartment looks out into the city, it looks really homey when it's snowing. At night time it looks even better with the city lights

I've always wanted an apartment like that in the city, but it's hard out here in this world to find something that's just right and not to damn expensive haha

I know right! It's crazy how expensive living is you know, my parents own their house in Dallas but they were saying that houses now are nothing like back in the day for them. Living was so much cheaper if you were a newly wedded couple looking for a place to buy

Definitely, this world has changed so much. So the sole purpose of this interview is to talk about your new single "The heart wants what it wants" which is going to be released for the first time ever on our show in about 5 minutes. But I quickly have to ask what was the writing process for this single? Like I know every artist is different what's your strategy?

When I'm writing a song I really like to be in my element. Which is when I'm driving, I know it's weird but most of my songs that have been released recently are from when I'm in the car driving. I could be driving literally to the gym and get inspiration. It's crazy and kind of baffled my producers, because this song is kind of a more, emotional song that definitely comes from the heart

Is this song...for a certain someone.. or more about someone? Cause there is a lot circling the air at the moment

To be completely honest with you, this song means a lot, I'm quiet proud of it. The rumours circling are rumours for a reason - which is because we would rather keep our lives private. But we can talk more about it after we are done talking about my single if that's okay

Of course it's okay, I don't want to be a pain and I really am excited for this song to finally be out in the world. Can you introduce it for me?

Hey everyone, it's okay don't stress. The hard thing about doing interviews is I am there to promote things like for instance my new single but other things are bought up so it's kind of overwhelming especially if it's personal issues I'm going through

I apologise, but I'm going to get straight down to business which I know you're okay with because we just spoke about it.

Firstly, you're back to your brown hair! I loved the blonde, was it just a random hey let's have fun type of thing?

It was definitely out of no where, I was just bored one day and said to my friend Steph I want to do something different with my hair and she was happy to be there with me through it and that's how I went blonde. Although I must say I love having my hair back to its natural colour because I didn't think after all the bleach and hair products my hair would survive so I did say it was temporary
