"As soon as we got back, I began to remember what our trip was really like. I spent weeks running what I knew over and over in my head, and the pieces came back to me a bit at the time. It took a bit, but I remembered everything. I confronted Hunter and..." she explained.

"And you couldn't tell me?! You made me think that I hated Nicholas, but he isn't that bad," I yelled.

"I wanted to tell you, but," she sighed, "but he threatened your brothers,"

"He threatened my brothers?" I asked.

Thinking back, I realized that they barely spoke after we got back.

She began to cry.

"He said that, that if I told you that Nicholas was your soulmate as well, he would, he would kill your brothers," she gasped, "I knew that would break your heart to lose them,"

"Hey, hey, I understand, relax," I hugged her.

"I wanted to tell you, I promise," she hiccuped.

"You could have told me in secret, I would help you keep them safe," I patted her back.

"But you loved him so much," she pointed out.

"Yeah, but I'm starting to rethink it," I murmured.

It took a few minutes before she was completely calm again.

"We have to get ready," I scowled.

"For?" She asked.

"Nicholas' friends," I rolled my eyes.

"Oh yeah, they are coming aren't they?" She muttered.

I nodded in disappointment.

"Let me guess, he told you no," she made the same awkward motion as Nicholas had made earlier.

"Haha oh yeah," I laughed.

"Are we gonna follow that rule?" She asked.

"Nope, not even a little," I chuckled, walking to the door.

"But, we only have these horrible clothes, not even a little slutty," she whined, motioning to the closet.

"True, but who did we know that is in this castle that has no lack of slutty clothing?" I teased, swinging the door open.

"Jolie," she sighed, a grin stretching across her face.

"Yes, indeed," I nodded.

"Awesome, let's go!" She jumped up,taking off down the hallway.

Laughing, I hurried after her.

"Shhhh, we're gonna get caught!" I yelled jokingly after her.

"Yeah, good idea, we probably should be quiet,"she yelled back.

"Oh well," I shrugged.

I caught up with her.

"Wait, where is her room?" Lacey asked suddenly.

She slammed to a stop.

I didn't stop and ran right past her.

"Oops," I mumbled, stopping and awkwardly walking backwards.

"So do you know where her room is?" She asked me when I reached her.

"Oh yeah, don't you remember the prank we played last time we were here?" I asked.

She closed her eyes.

A moment later, she opened them again and smiled.

"You remember don't you?" I smiled.
