"New baby! Dad, we have to be there when it's born, please!" Kira begged.

"What about dinner? I'm starving. I was busy in the backyard and skipped lunch." Harold said in an innocent voice.

"Dad!!" Kira shouted. "I will finally have somebody to look at me! Please let me be there so I can hold her!" Kira gave his father puppy dog eyes, sticking out his bottom lip into a pout. He knew his father fell for it all the time, it was his mother who could say no to it.

"Fine, just stop making that face!" Harold snapped.

Kira cheered and hugged his father. "Thank! But we better hurry since they are far away."

"Get in the car and we'll go." Harold said with a smile.

Kira grabbed Kaleb's hand and ran to the small, 4 door, car. His father sat in the driver's seat, started the car, then pulled out the driveway and took off. Kira bounced happily in the backseat of the car, overly excited about seeing his first cousin. Kaleb tried calming him, but eventually gave up.

"Kaleb, I'm sorry that I dragged you along, but I had no choice if your to be part of our happy family." Kira said softly.

"I'm glad that I can come along. It shows me how much you care for me as family."

"A little less than family. More like a friend."

"A boyfriend."

"Is that what you want to call me?" Kira asked.

"Its what my heart desires." Kaleb whispered.

Kira smiled softly, then jumped into Kaleb's arms and pushed his lips to the taller males.

"Don't do anything crazy back there you two, not while we're going down the road!" Harold shouted. Giggling hit his ears, and it made him feel sick. His son was right behind him, kissing another male.

"Dad!!" Kira screamed.

"Mr. Jenkins, the road!!"

Harold had been daydreaming about his life before Kaleb became a part of it. Once he came back to reality and looked at the road, it was already too late. He came head on with another car.
