World building

"This is a world of men and monsters, the myths of our world are real, and... surprisingly normal.

The earliest known areas of human settlements were along the coasts of Mediterranean and other coasts. Early civilization, Egypt was a prime example for starting wars with lion men, there were some later conflicts with the Onocentaurs (zebra centaurs). Later on, they were invaded by the Greeks, and after that, the Romans. Meanwhile west side of the known world, The Chinese had formed a collision to secure the the area known as China and Mongolia, removing Centaurs from the area, into the area of Siberia.

History (Ancient time 800BC-500AD)

The first major between monster and men were lead by Greco-Persion wars, started when the cheetah-men, much faster than the humans, and centaurs, much like most of the old world was covered by centaurs. The forces of the Macedonian Alexander the Great, who invaded the kingdom of Egypt, and than the Empire of Persia. Much later, the roman's perfected the art of weapon making, along with the art of war. They were able to clear the Italian Peninsula of monsters, and than, were attacked by the city of Carthage.

The 3 Punic wars did lead to the destruction and salting of Carthage. The Romans had taken control much of the Mediterranean world, as the Persian empire, revealed itself, this isn't the last time they will show up, but the last this much strength. Romans did have a legion of monsters, who were angered by the attacks of the foreign invaders.

The Germanic Wars where where Men and Monsters have a large source of  anger. The Romans, who discovered Magic being preformed by men, and monsters, the Romans tried to make magic into a weapon of war, with no success. The Romans did how ever, capture the largest empire of the time. The empire stretched from Spain to Mesopotamia, from Brittany to Egypt. 

Middle ages (500-1000)

With the fall of Rome, Charlemagne formed the holy roman empire, Draugr and viking men invaded the Europe. William of Normandy became King of brittany and removed nearly all monsters from the island. The Crusades started in 1096, turning away the Islamic invasion, and also, gathering some of the middle east, known as the ancient lands, due to old knowledge kept in the region. After first three, they began to fail more, and the seventh, eighth and ninth were hunts on Vampires, removing a majority of pure blood families, Werewolves, removing large packs and demons, not working will with the armies of men, due to devils and demons having high numbers.  

The Mongolian Empire invaded the area held by the golden hordes, a region held by men for a long time, due to the natural environment, eventually fell, for a short while. Eventually, the Hundred years war began, the black death hit, and wiped out 1/3 of Europe, Monsters and Men struggled to survive day by day, but, eventually, it left, and print and press lead the way to the Renaissance

Renaissance to modern (I'm lazy)

The Renaissance lead to improvements to understanding the bodies of men and monsters, science, mathematics, literature and inventions. The world speed up, with the discovery of Americas. The exploration and colonization of the new world. Eventually, as more land was added to the country of the United States, a democratic republic, monsters were brought in as slaves, to work. Eventually the North and Southern states fought over slavery. The next major event would be the world Wars, killing 17 million people.

The great War (WW1)

The war started when the Arch Duke Ferdinand of Austria, a monster controled country, was killed. Austria and Serbia fought over freedom of the area for trade. Germany and Austria were allies, while Serbia had Russia, France and England. Much later in the war, gas, machine guns, tanks, and air planes. Germany sank United State cargo ships, causing them to enter the war. The Americans, adding to the death toll. The war eventually ended when the axis powers surrendered, in Berlin. Russia suffered a revolution, turning the empire, into the USSR.

One of the biggest impacts to monsters were the death of the Eastern, Northern and Southern dragons died, removing some of the oldest creatures on the planet. 

The Second World War

With the rise of the Nazi party in Germany, war began to brew. Eventually, the Germans invaded Austria, the Rhineland and Czechoslovakia and eventually,  forming an alliance with Stalin the leader of Russia at the time. The Germans and Russians moved through Eastern Europe, divideing the land between the 2, and Germany, eventually attacked France.

The alliance died as the British stopped the march West, and Hitler looked East, attacking Russia. America Joined, after Japan, a Beastmen country attacked. America revolted and fought back, pushing through the pacific islands and the Allies push the axis out of Africa. 

The Eastern invasion failed, as winter hit, leading to Russia pushing back the next spring. The Allies, comprised of the French resistance, British and the USA. After almost a year, the European war ended, leaving Germany defeated, and 7 million dead monsters. The war was not over, and The USA, after much time and research, had developed Atomic weaponry, and dropped them on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ending the war. 

The Cold War followed, and the space race began, leading to Neal Armstrong and Buzzard Aldrin, being the first man, and Monster to be on the moon The Cold War ended and the USSR fell.

Now, in recent history, to be exact September 11, 2001, an Islamic terror group attacked the World Trade Center, this caused the middle east, to become a constant source or war, leading to one longest continuous war America had ever faced. 

And in most recent news, the men and women in Congress, made the first Inter-species academy, known as Fortuna Academy for all species.

"Now that you've read up to date, I want you to know, do you understand the course, this is World History 101, and I'm your teacher, Professor Mera, A Chimera." professor Mera said. He was a large lion, with a goat on his back and a snake tail, each one was able to talk.

A hand raised and Mera looked up and said "Yes, Lupin Moonvalley?" Mera asked. "Will we discuss the witch hunts of the middle ages?" Lupin asked, before coughing. "You need to get that checked out." a man with black hair and dressed in black. "I'm perfectly fine Zoltan." Lupin said. "Yes, and I've heard that the Moonvalley werewolf pack was absolutely fabulous in the 30's" a man dressed in a black and red pin stripe suit, and a black fedora. "Mister Satan, please be quiet." Mera said.
