A lot of good things happened today. First, I got out of bed without much trouble. That's very rare, especially because I'm half-dead when I sleep. Also, I got Honor Roll, but it's not much. I study in an Accelerated Christian Education school, which means I'm learning at a slower pace than people my same age at the public school. I do feel sad.
I want to go back to the Philippines.
Good memories are many, but most of them bring to light the place of my childhood, where children would play at the school playground, the sunlight would bathe me with an aura of glistening light, and jovial people would greet you at any turn. This quiet, yet budding community, was where I grew up.
Much things have changed since I've last faced the sun there with a smile in my face, but the feel remains the same.
Tomorrow, I'm going to this amusement park with my other classmates who have Honor Roll. The school is planning to reward us with that. That's awesome.
