Natsuki's POV
I walked along the hallways and stopped in front of the School Board. I swerved my head to look at it. 'Where's The Club List?' I thought to myself and squinted my eyes to check. Then, I hear a stop to my right, from my curiosity, I looked up to see a tall girl, she had long dark purple hair and her face expression seemed calm and petite. She was also squinting her eyes on the School Board.
"H-Hey." I firmly said, trying to get her to notice me. She finally snaps out of her gaze and looks in the direction where I was. "G-Gah!!" She squeaks a little bit loud. She stares at me with a surprised expression before breathing in slowly.
I start to sweat a little. "Look, I'm sorry for surprising you and all, but, I was just curious, are you also looking for the Club List?" I asked. She blinks and nods slowly, "Mhm." She responds. I looked back at the School Board and kept trying to look for the Club List.
"S-So..What Club are you joining?" She says out of the blue. "Well. My friend Sayori wanted me to join this Club Called the Literature Club, so I Agreed, but I needed to apply first before joining." I responded. "R-Really? My friend Monika wants me to also join the Literature Club." She says in a surprising tone.
I stopped squinting at the School Board and looked back at her. "Look, if we're joining the same Club, then we should introduce ourselves." I said. "Oh! I'm Yuri." She spoke. "I'm Natsuki, I'm interested in Manga and Baking Cupcakes." I replied in a cheery voice.
Yuri looks surprised again, but quickly looks to the ground, "Manga? If you're joining the Literature Club, you should read some Novels..." I furrowed my eyebrows together and scrunched my hands into fists. "Yuri, You can't force me what to do. And Manga is Literature!" I shouted out loud to her.
Yuri then looks back up at me, but her face looks worried, making my heart stop in tracks, 'W-Whats this feeling?' I thought. "Natsuki..I'm sorry, I..didn't mean to say that to you, it's just..It's new to me so I didn't know how to react." She finishes it off with a sad smile. I blush a tint red on my cheeks, "Pfft, I accept your apology, and I'm only doing that because I just felt sorry for you, got it?" I say with my arms crossed together.
Yuri smiles, but now in a more gentle and carefree way. "Thank you Natsuki-Chan." I nod and look away from her.
I start to hear footsteps coming from my left and hear another stop. Me and Yuri both whip our heads to see Monika and Sayori next to each other. "I see you guys have met." Monika says with a smile on her face.
"Haha, Hi again Natsuki and Yuri! The Club Application isn't here because the Schools Staff recently moved it to the other side of the Hallway." Sayori explains. I groaned and rolled my eyes, "So I Have to walk ALL the way over to the other side of the Hallway?" Monika giggles and gives two clipboards, one for me, and the other for Yuri.
"Don't worry. I brought in the applications with me just in case if you guys forgot." Monika explains as well.
I look down at the paper application for the Literature Club, and grabbed the pen. I quickly made my signature, letting the ink run dry on the paper, and gave the clipboard back to Monika. Yuri did the same and looked at me,"Are you excited?" She asked with simple happiness in her voice.
"Ha! Well...I'm kind of excited, but, also ready for whatever holds in the future, do you know what I mean?" I ask, trying to make her understand. She notices me sweating a little bit, and grabs my hand to intertwine with hers. "Of Course." She blushes a tint red as well, while I blush furiously and let go immediately.
"W-Whatever! L-Let's just go already!" I say in anger. Monika and Sayori tease me while Yuri laughs. "Sorry, I just wanted to calm you down." Yuri says. Before I could make a retort, Monika starts to lead us to the Room of where the Literature Club was. We all stop in front of a room, which was an average classroom, except for the fact it had a tea maker and somehow, a oven with cupcake making equipment.
Yuri and I both gasp and both go to them and do a little bit of squealing. "You guys added this?!" I squeak and look at Monika and Sayori. "Yup! Just for you guys to enjoy." Sayori happily says.
"Thank you so much! I'm already starting to feel like the Literature Club would be a great place to be in." Yuri says happily too. Seeing Yuri happy, made me happy even more, but, why? "I know we're all supposed to be happy and giddy, but, it's time to do some Club activities!" Monika says.
My Eyes lightened Up, full of curiosity, I bounced with joy over to Monika and Sayori. Yuri came at last and sat down in a chair. "Alright! Our first and main goal of this Club is to have more members, hangout, and most importantly, make poems!" Monika said while clapping her hands together.
I looked in surprised at Monika, 'Did she say, Poems?' I spoke carefully,"M-Monika, what if...you don't know how to make one?" Sayori, Monika and Yuri all look at me with a surprised or worried look. "Well, First, You make a poem about what you're feeling about and the poems also don't have to rhyme, Second, maybe Yuri would help you with that! Wouldn't she?" Monika said looking at Yuri with a grin.
"W-Wait! Me?"Yuri Looked even more stunned. "Yep! I feel like you two should bond some more and learn more about each other. Doesn't that sound fun?" Monika asked. "Hey Wait! I didn't agree to this!" I retorted. "I agree with Monika, I think you two should learn more about each other and get to hangout!" Sayori says truthfully.
Yuri looks down at me and has a worried and yet, friendly smile. "D-Do you also agree..?" I look away from her, and nodded,"Sure, but I'm only doing this just because I think I don't know if I can make proper poems!" I crossed my arms together again and blushed.
