I stared into my mirror, shaking my head slightly at myself, knowing how stupid I must look. Addy had just left after doing my makeup, hair, and choosing clothes for me and now I look absolutely terrible. I had about 15 minutes until Eli was supposed to get here and I took off my makeup, except for chapstick, which really doesn't count as makeup... I think... I changed out of my pink tank and jean shirt and put on a white cami and my black and gray long sleeved sweater, that was too big for my arms and almost engulfed my fingers. I shrugged and adjusted it, then put on some baggy, ripped, dark jeans and my converse then proceeded to change my hair from a tight french braid to my hair just down on my shoulders. I rubbed my temples and heard a knock on the door. I peered out the peephole and saw his face, and his usual blue sweatshirt hoodie, and jeans. I unlocked and opened up the door and he looked up from his phone and grinned. "What?" I asked, feeling self concsious, and he shook his head. "S'nothing..." he muttered and pointed over to his car, where I plopped myself into, gripping onto my phone, hoping he wouldn't compliment me at all. "You look... different, from your usual apparel..." he said after a long while of silence, focusing on the road. To this point, I still had no clue where this person was taking me, and I started to feel annoyed. "Is... that a good thing?" I asked awkwardly. He nodded and shot me a sideways smile, then turned his attention back to the road. "We're almost there" he said to me, and I tilted my head. "Where?" I asked, hearing the curiousity in my voice. "You'll see soon enough..." he replied, taking a hold of my hand, and squeezing it slightly. I felt my cheeks grow warm. Again. How many times will he do this to me? For now, I gripped his hand back, and held onto it, staring out the window sighing, and wishing he wouldn't let go.
