The old rusty cell door creaked as it shut closed, “Don’t you worry your pretty little head, she’s coming” came a voice, monotone, devoid of any feelings. The figure turned in the dreary light heading towards a set of dimly lit stairs. “I’m counting on it” a small chuckle coming from dry lips.

Alex had just been released from a short prison stretch, she had been caught trespassing on private property. What had made things worse was when the police had arrived they had found that she had been in possession of a bag of tool and a loaded gun.
A particularly nasty judge had been assigned to her case and had decided to prove a point by sentencing her to a year in prison.
The light hurt her eyes as they adjusted to the midday sun. “I hate the sun” she thought to herself as she walked along a quiet road next to the prison. She caught a glimpse of her reflection in the one way glass windows that surrounded the prison complex.
Alex was pale skinned, her hair a mop of short shaggy blonde. She sighed a little at her appearance. “let yourself go there a little, it’s only been a year” she smiled at herself as she looked up at her eyes, the smile dropping.
When she was little she had been involved in a car accident, the trauma had ruptured her right eye shifting its hue to a slight shade of green, it contrasted againts her natural blue eye and had always been a reminder of that night. The night she had lost one of her sisters.

Drip.......
Drip.............
Drip.................
The air was cold it stabbed at her skin. She pulled her legs into her body tightly, the pain shooting up her body, her eyes watering.
“Don’t you worry your pretty little head, she’s coming”
Who had he meant, who was.... ‘she’
The darkness took over her as she gave into the pain.

The house was gone, what remained was just an empty lot. “what..” gasped Alex as she dropped to her knees. “where are you Gabriel?” she sighed under her breath. The cool air whipped around her face as he gaze fixed on what used to be a grand house. She had only been to this place once before, and that hadn’t ended well.
“well, well, what do we have here?” came a gruff voice from behind her.
Alex felt a wave of cold cross her body as she turned her body.
“I thought after the last time you would have learnt your lesson girl” his voice cold and monotone.
She struggled to move, urging her body with every ounce of her will. She slowly stood up to face the figure. A man of mid age, dressed in what could only be described as Victorian, three piece suit bowler hat even a cane.
Her body heaved “Gabriel!”
“A pleasure as always young Alex, I see you are free from incarceration, I do hope your stay was enjoyable” a wry smile appearing on his lips.
“I’LL KILL YOU!” Alex screamed as her body shook with anger
“now, now young one, you know this game doesn’t work like that, besides you would find me harder to kill than you think, I mean come on a gun? Even you must know that wasn’t going to work”
“I’M GOING TO RIP OFF YOUR HEAD” she screamed as she stepped towards him, the rage taking over.
“And then tell me Little one, if you killed me how would you find her?”
Her body stopped, her chest heaving “Then tell me what you want?” Alex seethed
“What I always wanted to play a gane for her soul” he chuckled ....
