After a epic battle between Acnologia and the Fairy Tail guild, they finally won but the battle wasn't over yet. Natsu was on the floor bleeding out and Mavis was in the back of the guild unconscious because of Zeref. "This world is over. A new one will begin soon. Let us make the door of fairy tail for the new world, by connecting the guild's door with the Ravines of time. Once I pass through this door, this world will crumble, and my world will begin. Many have passed through this door, those setting out on a journey, and those returning from one... who could have imagined that fairy tail's door would be the end, and the new begining of this world too. How ironic, I will relive my life once more, while keeping the memories I have now. I will no longer make any mistakes, I'll save this world." Zeref said as he walked to the door's of the guild. Lucy rewrote the words in the END book. Zeref continued walking while Natsu was still on the floor. "This world has my gratitude." Zeref said as he walked out the door. "Gramps always told me..that if i were to pass through this door... i'd have to vow that I would return." Natsu said as he rose up, "Vow I live" he continued as he rose. Natsu's soul was on fire Zeref and Natsu began to fight each other, Natsu's body was hot and it was on fire. "How long do you intend to stand in my way?" Zeref asked Natsu, Natsu punched Zeref "Until the day that everybody can laugh together comes!" Natsu replied. "Then i'll make sure that, that never happens." Zeref said and punched Natsu. "BURN ALL OF ME!!! MAY THE POWER OF THE GUILD TURN INTO FLAMES!." Natsu screamed and used all his power and punched Zeref, Zeref rolled on the floor from the punch. Mavis was no longer unconscious. Natsu breathed heavy. Zeref laid on the floor defeated. "My body... can't move. It's the first time that, that happens... it can't be this is... no that doesn't mean i'm dying... surely i'll recover in a little while.." Zeref said weakly. "Can I leave the rest to you first master?" Natsu asked Mavis. "Yes!" she replied. "I'm already tired. I wanna see the faces of Happy and the others soon." Natsu said and waved good-bye. "See you, brother." Natsu said to Zeref. Mavis stood up and walked over to Zeref, "Mavis." Zeref looked at her. Zeref laid on the floor not able to move. Mavis and Zeref both sighed. "My body... I can't move a muscle... did I lose?" Zeref asked Mavis. "Natsu... really is something." She replied, "But.. he's a bit foolish I will be reincarnated. As I have been many times. Even these wounds... give me a few minutes and they'll all be healed." Zeref said. "Zeref... you've made my friends suffer. You've hurt them. I can't forgive that."Mavis said "As the first master of Fairy Tail, as someone who has believed in bonds of family thicker than blood, I want nothing more than to erase you from this world." She said to him" Zeref smiled "Death by your hand doesn't sound all bad, but... I-" "No. Just rest." Mavis stopped him from talking. "If... you really can." Zeref looked at Mavis and slightly smiled. "If only, back then... if only I had believed you more."Mavis sat down by Zeref. "What do you mean?" He asked, "You loved me, and as proof of it, and because of the curse of contradiction, my life was stolen away from me." she explained. "but despite the fact that you're under the same curse as me, I wasn't able to seal away your life." Mavis continued, "some part of me must not have believed you, I didn't have enough strength to love." she said. "There's no need to worry about all that now, I've never been loved by anyone, I realized your emotion towards me were not love, they were just passion."Zeref said to her. "No! Not passion! Contradiction!" she told him. "because I met you, I learned to use magic, because I met you, I save Magnolia, because you were there Fairy Tail was founded. You were everything I looked up to, and yet... you brought death, and you imprisoned my life. You hurt my friends and you used me to destroy Fairy Tail.' Mavis tried to hold back her tears, "I hate you so much... and yet I love you too." Mavis held her hands to her heart and tried to hold back her tears. "I am the only one that can empathize with your loneliness. The only one that can understand it. My thoughts are in dissonance. I cannot calculate what I ought to do. If I loved you i'd be able to kill you. If I truly thought of you as dear, from the depths of my heart! I'd be able to kill you." Mavis said as she looked at Zeref and her eyes filled with tears. "That was....my plan...and yet...." A tear fell from her eye. "Mavis" Zeref looked at her. "BUT I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE!" Tears fell from her eyes freely, "I WANT US TO STAY TOGETHER FOREVER!" she screamed and began to cry. Zeref looked at her and smiled. "There dearer you hold a person's life, the more you steal it away from them. The curse of contradiction." Mavis said. "So that's what it was all along, the answer to be loved." Zeref said. Mavis cried and cried on him. "Thank you Mavis, I'm sorry." Zeref smiled. "YOU CAN'T DIE! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!" Mavis screamed and cried while pounding on his chest while he was smiling. "YOU DESTROYED MY GUILD! YOU KILLED MAKAROV! YOU HURT MY FRIENDS!" Mavis screamed at Zeref and continued to cry more and more. "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! I DON'T LOVE YOU IN THE LEAST! JUST DIE ALREADY! DON'T SHOW YOUR FACE TO ME EVER AGAIN!" Tears fell on his chest as she cried. "I DON'T LOVE YOU! I DON'T LOVE YOU YOU'RE AN ENEMY OF MY GUILD! YOU'RE AN ENEMY TO THE WORLD!" She cried, "So...Please... die!" In her heart she didn't want him to die she really loved him. Mavis continued crying and she gently pressed her lips on his while crying, Zeref was shocked. Zeref's eyes filled with tears, she rose her hands to cup his cheeks and wiped the tears away. "I'm so very happy..." she said "because of you..." he finished her sentence. Zeref cried "i'll finally be able to get some sleep." He cried with joy and a light appeared. "I wish... we could have talked more. I wish...I could make things right with Natsu..." he said as his body started to fade away. "Take me...with you Zeref." Mavis grabbed his hand "You must live on..." he told her "Do you believe that? From the bottom of your heart?" She asked him "Yes!" he replied. "Crap...it looks like... the curse is taking you too!" they both laid on the floor together facing each other while holding hands "Let's go together...Zeref" she said smiling. "Mavis" he said. Both of their bodies disappeared. "It's so warm" He said "Of course, silly were inside Fairy Tail after all" she said "I see...so this is what it means to die. A power that even the immortal cannot best" he said. "Love. The unifying magic" they both said together. "Is the fight over?" A familiar voice asked "I must've been dreaming..." the voice said everyone turned and their eyes filled with tears. "MASTER! YOUR ALIVE!" The guild yelled,"Gramps!" Laxus cried "I had the strangest of dreams..." Makarov said "A warm lifeforce was coursing through me..." The fight was finally over. An eternity of sadness has come to an end. An eternity of smiles begins. A barefoot girl and a jet- black boy were playing ever so joyfull... Is the fight really over?
