Chapter 1

I'm walking by my self silently to my dorm since school is back in session. I've been waiting a while to hurry back to school to get away from my drunken mother.

I feel a shove on my shoulder by someone which takes me back to reality where my life is total crap. "Watch it" I tell who ever shoulder checked me

"Sorry" I hear a voice next to me as I look up to see the one and only Hunter

He hands me my books with an apologetic face

I stare at him with a smile letting him know that's it's okay. He looks me up and down as I feel my cheeks start to turn red. "Can help you" I ask in a harsh tone.

"Sorry you look familiar" he tells Me

"wow thanks I had class with u last year but nice to see you again" I say back sounding a little more polite

I take my books from him pointing in the opposite direction letting him know that I leaving after he shrugged and walked away.

"Wassup bro" I hear him tell his buddies as he high fives them and do their little hand shake

I walk away when hear my phone ringing when I stop to get it out of my purse sitting around my luggage.

"YAAAAY" Katie scratches through the phone asking me my dorm room number. Bye the time I got off the phone with her it turned out that we have the same dorm room. I get up to my dorm room to see Katie waiting there for me with her arm opened up for a hug.

"So, tell me how was the break" she ask me with a doubt

"It was okay, same as usual" I tell her in sad tone

She walked up to me trying to comfort me when more girls walk in the room and look at us like they just seen a ghost.

"Look if ur ganna keep staring at me like that I will take ur eyeballs out ur head got it" Katie tells them in a harsh tone

They giggle and walk off which is the one thing that actually gets to me "one more year" "then I'm out of this shithole" I tell katie

I hear loud voices coming down the hall forgetting this is a for both guys and girls I sigh leaving the idiots to keep doing
what their up to.

I knock on the door so I get up to answer it and what do you kno look who it is Hunter.

"Wow you really must like be stalking me now" I say just to get on his nerves

"If I wanted to stalk you baby you think that I would be knocking on ur door" Hunter whispers in my ear sending me chills down my spine.

"Whatever, what do you want?" I ask him snapping us out of the moment
He cleared his thought and handed me a piece of paper.

"Party" he responds

"why would I want to go to ur party" I ask. " Just letting you kno the invite is for all the girls so don't feel to special " he chokes out

"Well gee thanks for the invite I'll think about it, now if you excuse me I have a life to attend" I tell him I walk the door in his face. I hear him Laughing as he walks back down the hall which sends a smile to my face.

"What was that for" Katie questions bringing me back down to earth. "Nothing just some party " I tell her acting like I don't care for it. Everybody who knows Katie knows that She has always been the party girl.

"Party let me see" she held out her hand as a way of saying to give her the paper. Letting out A small groan I had her the paper. She quickly skims through the paper.

Ashley's Prov...

"Come on we're going to be late if you don't hurry." She yells to me from the other room.

"Coming" I yell back. I step out my room and her jaw drops as she looks at me with an amazed look. I see her eyes look me up and down.

"What is it to short?, is it ugly?, what say something?" I tell her in a worried tone. "Perfect" I hear her say in a low voice. I sigh " You coming " I asked.

WE finnaly get to the party and I look around to see if I recognize anyone from class or something.

"Hey" I hear someone whisper in my ear But I don't turn around cause I already know who it is. "Instead of greeting him I walk away to go grab me something to drink.

He follows me to the kitchen when I open the fridge door I grab a drink then close the door." I see him standing there with a smile plastered across his face.

"So I see you decided to come to my party" he says to break the silence.

" Yup " I respond

It went on for talk and a few vodka shots gave been made. I sat down on the couch to play a game of 20 questions.

"Are you a virgin?" He asked me so bluntly

"Yes" I quickly moved on from the subject

"Are you Single?" I ask next

"Yes" he was his response

"Do you like me?" He asked after thinking of a question for a while. I stare at him in question but answer his anyway.

"Nope" I said in a low voice so he can hear me. He shrugged his should got up and walked away cause the game did get a little boring for us. He moition me to come and dance and so I did.

I stood there In The moment dancing when he breaks my silence. " why?" He ask out of now where. I look at him in confusion trying to under stand what he had meant.

" Why what? " I ask him.

"Why don't you like me?" He said. At this point I was looking at him in curiosity wandering why he would want to ask me this question.

" I barley know you" I answer back.

He shrugged it off as if he did not care. We went back to dancing when we got bored we went to go play beer pong.

"You got this,just one more ball" he said looking at me with concentration.

I keep my eye focuses on the cup and thrown the ball. And it lands right in the cup. "Whoooo" I scream as does everyone else.

I turn to my side to hug him but I notice he is not there. I search the room but he is no-where to be seen. I walk around the house when I see him there with another girl who is flirting with him.
