Aubrey's P.O.V

The moment I stepped into the disco club's entrance, I was already welcomed by the blasting sound of an electro music. There were bundles of people from the little stage not too far from where the DJ was,  dancing in such inappropriate yet dynamic way. I suppose mostly were just being wild from each other though. I looked at the other side where sofas and seats are located, and I could only swear it bothered me slightly to see pairs or whatever relationship they have, making out. I mean, it was just unsightly. I mean, they're beyond making out but never mind.

I skipped from where I stood to get myself something to drink and lessen up, and as I walked my way through the crowd, a girl with a blonde hair -"typical" I thought rolling my eyes, suddenly bumped on me, tumbling us down this dirty pavement. Hard, cold and dirty pavement. Few pairs of eyes looked our way with curiosity but shrugged it off and continued on with their businesses.

"Fuck! watch out, miss!" I shriek through the loud beat of the cool music, dusting myself as I look at the culprit.

"I'm sorry!" she shouts back, my gaze still following her as she clumsily run towards the toilet. A bit too fast for a normal pace. I shook the unnecessary thoughts off and started walking towards bartender to get myself a drink, until I realised I was too nosy, and I really had this weird feeling towards the girl so I went after her with a much faster pace. I don't know why It had me doing a 180 twist, but one thing I know is that I was curious and something felt off. Aside from that, she also kind of looked familiar. At least I thought so. I finally reached the bathroom, pushed the door open and left it alone to automatically close. The loud music became muffled and was replaced by sobs and sniffs that welcomed me as I got inside. There were 3 stalls opened and one shut closed, which I guessed she was hiding at.

That must be her. My heart literally sunk at the thought and what the actual fuck? I mean, did I actually hurt her feelings? That much? I wasn't even being too mean, or was I? Ugh what's happening to me? I don't even know this girl? The hell should I care? Never mind. I then knock at one of the stall doors where I assume she's hiding at, hoping to get decent response.

"Uhh, are you okay?"
Way to go, huh? Very silly question, Aubrey.

"No," well, duh! I actually shouldn't have asked that in the first place, cause it's freaking obvious that she's not. Hey, at least I'm trying to be nice though.

Okay, listen Aubrey. Ask her again you idiot! you must have put more salt in her plate. You can never know what a person is dealing with.

Alright Aubrey. just open the door already! Okaay, why's my heart participating with my crazy brain? Gosh, can these two stop? why am I talking with myself in the first place? I'm just making myself feel worst than I already am now.

"Uh, miss? Look, is this about earlier? Yeah, I know I yelled at you out there but I didn't mean to actually..um..you know," I stopped, scratching the side of my temple. This is useless.

"Uh, will you come out there so we can..uh, talk properly about it-" what the fuck is wrong with me? why do I always make unnecessary things? and why am I stuttering?! I literally don't know what I'm doing. I haven't had any single shot of alcohol yet I'm already here stuttering with no shame.

As I was about to finish the stupid phrase, the mysterious girl threw open the door and flew right at me, eventually curling herself against my body, if it was even possible. I was shocked, to say the least, but my instinct told me otherwise and hugged her back. I felt shivers travelling down my spine but I ignore it and had to channel my attention on the girl instead. It was minutes later that she stopped crying, apologising multiple times about how she had ruined and wet my shirt which somehow caused me to chuckle. She's adorable, I'll give her that. Yeah, no. What?
