Jungkook's big secret

Taehyung and Jungkook were so madly, deeply in love with each other, but truth be told, they didn't have the guts to confess it to each other. Neither of them.

So that's why, Jimin⎯ being the good friend he always was for Jungkook, decided to team up with Hoseok and have Jungkook and Taehyung confessing their undying love for each other.

Only, they didn't know what was going to happen exactly.

Not much later, Jimin was in Taehyung's house, uninvited, not that Taehyung minds though. He had a huge headache and it didn't help him that Jungkook was running wherever he went, worried. But it took every fiber in Taehyung's body not to snap at him, because he's just crossing the line. 

But he doesn't tho.

Not when Jungkook is looking at him so worriedly; his beautiful lips formed into a small pout, his eyes looking worried too; like he hasn't slept last night at all. His hair was a mess, sticking out everywhere, though⎯ He still looked good. He always looked good. Taehyung thought and immediately wanted to slap himself across the face for even thinking that. Not when his headache is this bad, definitely not.

"Jungkookie, you should go sleep," said Taehyung, his voice laced with worry because Jungkook really was exhausted, caring maybe a little too much for Taehyung. Taehyung surely didn't mind it, but he didn't want to be treated like a baby. He was a grown up man after all.

"But hyung~" Jungkook whined, obviously not wanting to leave his hyung alone. After all, Taehyung's sick and Jungkook feels like Taehyung needs him. "I want to stay here with you."

"Jungkookie," Jungkook's heart flattered a little bit at the nickname Taehyung gave him a long time ago. It still feels like it's the first time Taehyung's calling him that and it makes his heart completely warm. "You don't need to be worried about me, I'm fine. I probably just caught a cold, nothing to worry about." Taehyung tried to assure the maknae, but he looked like he was looking right through Taehyung. Reading him like an open book.

"No, Taehyung hyung. I'm sorry but you don't look fine at all and I will stay here with you until you get better." Jungkook said looking like he's sticking to his words already just by the look he's giving Taehyung.

"Jungkook," Taehyung calls out again, this time his voice harsh and angry. "If I told you to go sleep, then go sleep. I don't want you getting sick too." Taehyung says sternly.

Jungkook startles a bit at Taehyung's angry voice and flinches at the harsh tone his hyung just used. Also the lack of nickname Taehyung gave him made him think his Taetae hyung is really mad at him. Jungkook pouted, his eyes getting watery because of the frustration, because he can't confess it to Taehyung, because he can't say no when Taehyung uses that tone of his voice to get to him. Everything's just bubbling up inside of him. 

"Yah, Taehyung!" Someone called out from the living room and they all looked towards the voice. Of course it's Hoseok, the man that always saved him whenever he was getting scolded at. He was seriously grateful for Hoseok. Beside him was standing Jimin, who was looking at the scene in front of him. "Why are you yelling at the maknae?" 

"Hobi hyung, I told him I didn't need him to take care of me and to leave to sleep because it's obvious he's lacking sleep but he just wouldn't listen to me." Taehyung says, not because he's scared of Hoseok hyung, God⎯ No! He would be more scared of a goat, then of Hoseok. He explained it to him because he wanted Hoseok to know what's happened and also to maybe later, can apologize to the maknae who was on the edge of crying now.

He was not a crybaby. Not at all. Well⎯ maybe sometimes. But he felt like crying because his Taetae hyung never used that tone on him like that. Yeah, maybe when he was fake "scolding" him, just because Jin requested of him to do so because he was being naughty, but he'd never raise his tone like that and glare at the maknae like that. Taehyung was always caring towards him, nicknames that he absolutely adored, and now all of a sudden his hyung is being harsh towards him?
