'Where Are My Legs...?'

"Wait, how do you know?!" Naomi asked, thinking she was going to have an anxiety attack.

Kimi then put on a serious face, as if they were in grave danger. "Oh I saw them, alright." She said, slightly nodding. "And I saw you earlier, looking through the windows. This is 17A, right? Oh, they're coming, you better get moving, because they're on their way." She waited before adding, "And come outside with me."

Naomi immediately leapt out of her chair and quickly ran to the side of the bed the other two girls were in as the girl in the window smiled darkly. Kimi ducked from from the window and disappeared. Naomi shook the two girls inside the bed. Ayaka groaned and turned away from her, "Five more minutes, mom."

Naomi yanked the bed sheets off the bed, which seemed to work. Ayaka bolted upright in bed, and glared at her. "What's your problem?" She snapped. Nana slowly sat up and yawned before rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

But what if it's a trick? Naomi thought suddenly. Like some type of prank...? "Get up and get ready, I'll be right back!" She ordered, running to the door and opening it.

Ayaka blinked a few times at her before going into action. She quickly turned the lamps on, which were enough to illuminate the dark hotel room enough for them to see, but casted plenty of dark shadows here and there. Nana, not liking the slight change of mood and the way the room looked in her blurry vision, slightly whined. Ayaka slipped her sneakers on with ease and quickly put her coat on. "Put your shoes on! Now!" Ayaka hissed at her, noticing she wasn't moving a muscle.

Nana quickly nodded and obeyed, slightly upset she yelled at her. Naomi didn't see anyone in the hallway, so she tip toed into the hall, barefoot. She made her across the carpeted floor and down the stairs, quickly but quietly. She slightly cracked open a glass door that lead to the lobby, and peeked at the couple and their child, who seemed to be around her age, at the front. The two adults seemed to be conversing with the woman behind the counter, and the boy seemed to be engrossed in his video game. "Honey, meet us in the room, okay?" The lady told the boy, who mumbled a "Whatever." in response.

He began to walk forward, but stopped to ask, "What's our room number?" But when his parents weren't paying attention, he raised his voice. "What's our room number?!" Naomi thought, shaking her head, My mom would surely slap me silly if I talked to her like that!

"17A." His father replied absentmindedly, the boy rolling his eyes and making his way towards Naomi's direction, not looking up from the screen of his Nintendo.

Naomi bounded back up the stairs, hoping that Ayaka and Nana were ready.

Nana watched her older sister pace around the room impatiently as she sat in the green chair by the window. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Nana grabbed the remote and switched on the TV. Ayaka barely noticed, and that's when Naomi walked through the door. And managed to ignore Ayaka, who had bombarded her with questions as soon as she walked through the door, as she picked up the candy wrappers all over the floor and tossed them in the trash. Despite Nana's whiny voice shouting at her in protest, she took the remote from her and turned the TV off. Not needing any further explanation for her fleeing feet, Ayaka and Nana managed to keep up with Naomi as she dashed out of the room and bolted around a corner, just as the boy from downstairs emerged from the top of the staircase.

The boy, eyes still trained on the screen of his video game, slipped the card which unlocked the room they were in before inside the slot. A light on the door turned green, and he walked inside, leaving the door cracked behind him. "We're leaving?!" Nana asked in disbelief as Ayaka and Naomi dashed over to the stairs. "Shh!" Ayaka snapped. "What else are we going to do? We can't stay here with no room to sleep in!"
