'Where Are My Legs...?'

"But, we need to find a place to stay..." Ayaka replied, looking over at the traffic. "We could make a flat in abandoned building or something, but they're pretty scarce, and she could easily break in and kill us."

Naomi shuddered at the memory of the monster's evil glare. And the sound of her bashing in the doors. Then finally, that awful 'tek tek tek' sound she made when she advanced on you, scythe raised.

"What about a hotel?" Naomi suggested. "It's warm, cozy, has large beds and even room service." She had a hopeful look on her face, you could tell that was exactly what she wanted. "There's even a TV! And that monster girl will not be able to get us then, because it's a public place!"

"But, how will we get in without an adult? We have to be at least eighteen to get in by ourselves, we're too young!" Ayaka wanted to sleep in a hotel for the first time in a while, but it was nearly impossible. She was as disappointed as Naomi.

"Hm, maybe I can pretend to be an adult." Naomi said thoughtfully, twirling one of her ponytails again. "Yeah, that's it! I can pretend to be eighteen!" She stood up, clearly thinking it was a good idea.

Ayaka rolled her eyes. "As if anyone would mistake you for an adult." She pointed out. "It's obvious that you're not, your hair is up in pigtails, and you have a school uniform on, too."

Naomi looked down at herself. "Oh....." She was crestfallen, and she sat back down beside her.

"I think I have an idea, though..." Ayaka piped up, a mischievous grin forming on her face. "Go get, Nana, we're going to find the nearest hotel!" Naomi obeyed and dashed over to the playhouse where Nana was eagerly, ready to escape this cold weather.

"Woo hoo!" Ayaka yelled, jumping up and down on a king-sized bed like it was some kind of trampoline. Nana, who was curled up in a ball under the covers, grumbled and pulled the sheets over her head. "Can't a girl sleep?" She groaned.

Lucky for them, they finally found a place to sleep for the night. Away from the cold, darkness outside and the monster lurking somewhere. But it took a while, first they had to find a nearby bookstore, or someplace with a public computer. It took about thirty minutes until they found one, but one nerdy looking boy was taking forever to get off of a computer, he seemed to be playing Minecraft. The other computer was out of order, and they had to wait around for him to get off. Before they even realized it, an hour and thirty minutes had passed, with them being so engrossed in all the neat books, and the boy finally got up. So Naomi looked up the nearest hotel in their area, and it was the Sunshine State Hotel. (I know it's cheesy I couldn't think of anything else so just go with it...) It took about two hours to get there, with Nana and Naomi stopping for ice cream and snacks and using up all the money Ayaka had, and with it being so far away and Naomi complaining her legs were aching from all the walking they were doing. So they had to stop several times. Then finally they'd gotten to the hotel, and they looked through the windows at empty rooms, and Ayaka figured out where they would be if she walked inside the hotel. They choose room 17A, and the plan was soon in full swing. Nana would walk into the lobby and distract the girl behind the counter.

"Excuse me." Nana had said, pulling on the lady's sleeve.

"Yes, sweetie?" The woman had replied with a large smile, putting down the phone.

"Ummm..." Nana had tried to think of something to distract her with while the other two were busy trying to sneak down the hall to the rooms. Ayaka had signaled her to keep going. "I need to call 911!" Nana had blurted.
