Poem 2. Wolf's Cry

A/N: I decided to keep this because I wrote this for fun. Yes it's meant to be funny sounding.

Hush, my child! Listen to the wind,
Is that the wolf's cry it brings.
Listen! As the wind whispers in your ear,
And the wolf's cry, Yes! The wolf's cry is what you'll hear.

Look! Out on the hill top, standing in the mist,
Is that the silhouette of the wolf I see in the deep dark abyss?,
Take heed my child. Do not venture out there,
For if you meet the wolf you shall be dead I fear.
