You were confident when you said you had the best friend ever.

Felix Lee was funny, caring, smart, hard-working, and not to mention adorable. You two met through your dads, and have had a strong bond since elementary school. Even throughout middle school, the two of you were still able to maintain your friendship while changing your appearance, personality, etc. It was a miracle that neither of you changed for the worse.

Now you're in your second year of high school, where you're leading a normal and happy life.

"OMG Y/N I FINALLY FOUND IT" Felix exclaimed, while you didn't know what he was talking about.

"Found what?"

"DUDE REALLY OH MY GOD FELIX PLEASE SEND IT TO ME I NEE D IT" You were instantly excited. The both of you have seen the ugandan knuckles memes on instagram, but have yet to have the snapchat filter.

"Apparently there are loads of other filters like spongebob, timmy turner, waluigi, guy fieri, tide pods..." You guys were somehow really excited over this, and already knew the filters would be on everyone's stories.

"Hey Felix, hey Y/N!" Changbin came into your guys' classroom. He, Felix, and 7 other guys are on your school's all-male dance team. They were basically the school heartthrobs on the outside but none of them were very flirty nor were they playboys.

"Hey Changbin!" You and Felix said in unison.

"Felix don't forget we've got two hour practice after school today. The homecoming assembly is coming up real quick, so we all need to make sure everyone 100% has the choreography down." Changbin told him while smirking at him and secretly eyeing at you.

It was obvious he was trying to push Felix to ask you to homecoming, but you knew that doesn't mean anything special. Lots of people bring their friends to dances as dates.

"Chill man, I've got everything down." Felix said confidently. You were scrolling through instagram when he said that, and didn't notice he also looked at you with the sweetest smile.

"Okay lovebird, I'll get going now then. And Y/N, do you wanna come and watch us practice? You can invite your other girl friends to watch."

"Sure Changbin, I'll just bring F/N, she's a fan of Jisung." You said smirking. Jisung was single and was desperate for a girlfriend. You really wanted to see those two together as you knew F/N definitely fit Jisung's ideal type.

"I'M NO LOVEBIRD" Felix shouted as Changbin left the room and you laughed at his defensiveness.

- after school -

"Hey Y/N, why'd you wanna meet?" F/N asked while you two were walking to the gym.

"Nothing really... just gonna watch all male's practice!!"

"... you didn't"

"i did"

"DUDE YOU KNOW I ALWAYS GET TOO NERVOUS IN FRONT OF JISUNG WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME"

"Heyy be lucky you have this kind of opportunity. Changbin invited me and said I could invite other friends. Plus, I know them which includes Jisung so I know for a fact that you're perfect for him!"

"... bruh how even..."

"His ideal type is cute, funny, caring, and hard-working girls. In other words, you!"

"Ughh oh my god well i mean i guess I'll come but just watch me melt down in front of Jisung."

"You'll be finee just watch in a week of two he's gonna ask you to hoco for sure. Now, let's go!" You guys continued your walk to the gym and sat in the bleachers once you arrived.

You called out to the nine you were friends with. "Hey guys, it's nice seeing you again and I brought my friend too if you don't mind! This is F/N!" All of the guys waved at you and F/N, and you could tell Jisung was staring at F/N with his mouth a little open. She waved at everyone.

After greeting all of them, you went up to Felix and gave him a hug and gave him his own greeting, then went back to the bleachers to watch their homecoming choreography.

(Imagine the following dance being performed in a high school gym.)

You could already visualize all the students cheering for them in the gym, especially the girls. That choreography really did leave you shook.

"Guys that was amazing!! The gym's gonna be so loud when you perform, I already know it." You told them, still amazed at their dancing and charisma.

"That really had me shook guys, great job!!" F/N exclaimed.

After a couple hours of attempts at the choreography and everyone helping each other out, all male's dance practice was over.

All of them were packing up and drinking water, and you left F/N and eyed Jisung to go talk to her.

You went over to Felix, who was still panting from their last go at the dance and was wiping the sweat off his face.

"Want me to walk you home?" Felix asked before drinking some water.

"It's fine, I heard from Changbin that you guys were planning to get some In n Out right now." You replied, not wanting to be a burden.

"Nah it's fine. The sun is gonna set soon so you shouldn't walk alone. Plus, I've already been spending too much time with the guys because of practice, so..."

"So what??"

"So it's time to spend time with you now." He said, flashing you his genuine smile.

"I mean I guess then,,," You blushed. You guys have been best friends since forever but you can never get over that huge grin of his.

The two of you said your goodbyes to everyone, and you smirked when you saw F/N and Jisung laughing together.

"What's that smug ass smirk for?" Felix laughed.

"Shut upp, I'm just hoping F/N and Jisung get together soon. I swear they look so cute together!!" You squealed.

"You know who else looks perfect together?" Felix asked you.

"Who??"

"Us, duh!" Felix grinned at you with his fingers in an L shape under his chin.

From that action, you can tell what he just said was a joke, it wasn't something like what happens in the dramas.

You two were best friends, and you were content with that.

But deep down, you felt it could be something more.
