The electricity went out. Plates and chairs were crashing down.
Then I heard foot steps.
Slowly, they got closer.
And boom. A light turned on.
There he was.
Derek. My ex. The one who almost killed me.
"Boo." He whispered. I screamed.
I saw from the corner of my eye Matt grabbing Alex and Cat.
Then, two figures in front of me.
Nash.
And Cameron.
Nash punched the guy in the gut. He leaned over and cam kicked him in the face.
That's when I felt a leak going down my leg.
Luckily, Derek was knocked out.
"Cam..."
"Yeah?" He asked out of breath.
"The baby is coming."
