Skipping For Pain

"What?!"

"Adorable?" KC squealed.

"N-No-"

"Your dream girl?" I teased, watching Zane's face go beet red.

"I was gonna say shy! Sha-eye-a!"

Everyone but Katelyn and Zane laughed.

The two just starred daggers at one another.

"So, Baby Brother," Garroth chirped.

"What?" Zane groaned.

"You didn't deny that Gina was cute ~" Again, Zane hit flustered and the group laughed until their sides hurt.

Threw the commotion, Aph spoke.

"Alright, let's just watch a movie. Any suggestions?"

I raised an eyebrow to Garroth, who sat beside me, and gave home a little snicker. He returned it, draping his arm around my shoulders, I did the same to him, as we placed our free hands in the air.

"F-R-O-Z-E-N!!! Frozen!" We sang hearing groans from the others, making us laugh.

In the end. We won.

Time skip brought to you by your others great looks!

Zane- What looks?

Ahem! On with the story!

We were in the middle of the movie, and already half the group was asleep, not including myself, Garroth, Zane, Katelyn, and Laurence.

"Irean just shoot me," Laurence groaned, trying to deafen the ice queens vocals.

"That could be arranged," Zane chuckled, continuing to scroll threw his phone. I couldn't help but laugh with him, as he made fun of my older brother.

I changed my sights, to land on Katelyn, who seemed out of it. I gave her nuge, not having to move much, due to her sitting next to me.

She turned her attention to me, as if asking what.

I gave her a small smile, knowing she was worrying about her sister. Taking her hand in mine, I tried my best to comfort her as much as I could.

"She'll be fine Katelyn,"

"I know, it's just late, and her car isn't at your guys's house yet," I looked out the window, to only confirm Katelyn's observation.

"Yeah, but if something was wrong she would send a text or give a call," Katelyn only nodded, not wanting to continue the conversation.

Letting go of my hand, Katelyn walked into the direction of the bathroom. I sighed, looking to my left to see Garroth beginning to nod off.

Giving a light laugh, I looked back at the TV, only for my mind to go elsewhere.

Gina has been gone a while  now. She isn't the type to just stay at some dudes house without least texting me first. But, then again she has been acting weird.

My thoughts came to a stop, as a small tune came from Zane's phone getting my attention. And since he was a bit in front of me, I could see his phone screen clear as day.

I couldn't help but listen to the tune closer, when I say Gina's name pop up on his screen.

It was Gina's voice saying "Peek-a-boo!" And then her small giggle at the end of it. I couldn't help but smile at the emo boy.

"When was that made?" I asked, catching him off guard.

"What?"

"The ringtone. That's Gina's voice isn't it?" Zane gave a nod.

"It was back in highschool. Right around the time I went off too college," he spoke, I gave a nod, remembering their little 'thing' they had.

They of course won't admit it, but you knew. Gina was a year behind Zane.

It was hard on both of them. Zane was so busy with college, Gina met Abraham. At first Abe was nice, but the longer their relationship went, the more Gina changed. Is been ten years now. And everyone is worried about the two.

Gina hasn't even gone to college. She tried but it seemed no one sent her mail. But then again. Abraham dug threw her mail back then.

No doubt he probably stole her exception letters.

Zane got another text, making my mind go back too snooping.

12:07

Gina- Zane, I don't wanna be here.

Zane- Then leave, tell him something came up.

12:13

Zane- Did it work?

Gina- Yes... And no.

Zane- no?

Gina- I'll tell ya tomorrow at work.

I raised an eyebrow, looking back out the window. Gina was just getting home, and she looked....stressed. But then again, the darkness was blurring the sight.
