Thinking deeply, above the sky
Where angels sing soft lullabies
Strumming harps and soaring gaily
In the sky, so very lightly
Listen close, you may hear them mumble
One day, you might crumble
Ask why, must you?
The answer is know by only a few
The frozen clouds wait in balance
Letting the winter fade alas
Why must there be many good-byes?
Why can't there be less tears and no cries?
Thinking deeply, above the stars
Where angels watch from afar
Whispering secrets and gazing upon
The people that will soon belong
Listen close, you may hear them giggle
Two days from now, you're heart'll be brittle
Ask not, why mustn't you?
The answer is gone and has been renewed
The intense nature has a free-flowing rhythm
Songs of angels that relate to an anthem
Why can't there be passion?
Why must there be indignation?
Thinking deeply, inside my heart
Longing for a tall and steady lark
To fall into sleep forever more
To reach the waves of the shore..
