"Do you work today?" Parker asked Kristina as she got ready to take herself and Morgan to school. Kristina shook her head. "Nope. Melissa is running the store today so she can get some extra hours." Parker smiled. "I never thought that you two would end up being friends. Who knew that punching someone in the face would make you besties." She said with a laugh. Kristina rolled her eyes. "First off, we aren't besties." Parker really was trying to suppress the snickering but she was failing something awful. "And second, we weren't friends until much later if you remember correctly." Parker put her hands up in surrender. "Alright, alright." She said wiping the tears of laughter from her eyes. "My point was: You two hated each other and now you're fine. People grow honey, it's not a big deal. I was really proud of you when you swallowed your pride and gave her the job." She told her wife as she leaned in and gave her a kiss.
"On another note, my reason for asking about work was because the school has a family lunch thing today and I told Morgan I'd mention it to you." Kristina shrugged. "Works for me. You don't think it will cause a fuss do you?" Now it was Parker rolling her eyes. "Honestly, I don't care if it does or not. This is for Morgan, not them. They can suck it..." Kristina's eyes got wide, as Parker did not usually speak that way. "Up." She continued upon seeing the look on Kristina's face. The smaller girl let out fake gasp. "Parker Forsyth Corinthos-Davis! I'd have used your middle name too, but that's a mouthful as it is." She said jokingly. "Oh whatever," Parker replied with a smile. "Is Morgan ready?" Kristina nodded. "He's in the living room with his backpack playing on my phone waiting." "Okay then, I guess we'll see you at lunch." Parker told her. Kristina leaned in for a few more smaller kisses. "Yes you will." She said following her to the front door so she could give her son a hug and kiss goodbye. "I'll see you at school today kid." She informed him. "Yay!!!!" He said as he hugged her tight. "Love you mom." He said as he kissed her cheek and walked out the door with his other mother.

It was almost lunch time at the school and all the parents were starting to come in. Morgan had came up to his mother's desk at the front of the room. "Can I sit here?" He asked. She cleared off her desk the rest of the way. "Yes, but only until Mommy gets here and then we have to move to the floor like everyone else." He pulled up a seat next to her. "Okay. Where is she?" Parker took out her phone and looked at it. "She texted me a few minutes ago saying she was on her way, so she'll be here soon." She said as she fixed his hair. "Are you excited?" She asked and he nodded. "Yes, but I'm also nervous." He began as he started gripping her desk so hard his knuckles turned white. "Tyler's mom is here." Parker looked over at the kid that had very clearly overheard his parent's use of homophobic slurs. "Like Mommy said, she and I can take care of the grownup things okay? Don't worry about it." She said hugging him. The kid was so much like Kristina it was unreal.
Just then, the one and only walked through the classroom door and over to the desk. "Hey you two!" Morgan got up and ran to her. "Mommy! You came!" He said as he hugged her. "I told you I would silly goose." She said as he stood on her feet and she walked with him back to the desk. "Hey babe," She said kissing her wife. "Am I late?" Parker shook her head no. "Right on time actually. We have to move to the floor though. Go get your lunch out of your cubby." She told Morgan and he ran off to the back of the classroom to do as he was told.
"I feel like I should mention that he's concerned about us eating together." Parker told her. "And not because he's ashamed of us." She continued before Kristina could ask why. "He seems to be worried that Tyler's mom might be mean to us." Kristina looked over at the child bully and his parent and scoffed. "Please. I could take her with my eyes closed." Parker let a laugh escape. "Kristina!" Kristina gave her a serious look and then threw a paper clip  at her. "I was just sayin..."
Morgan came back with his lunch and the three of them found a spot to eat. They had a good time for the most part, Morgan introducing Kristina to all of his friends ergo they were doing a meet and greet with parents. The majority of them were nice and didn't judge, which they were grateful for. They felt much better about him playing with kids who's parents had an open mind with their relationship. They didn't need it backfiring on them or Morgan.
After lunch, all the parents left and Kristina grabbed her jacket to do the same. She kissed her wife and son goodbye and walked out the door. As soon as she exited the building, she heard some one cough, and ironically it sounded like the word 'dyke'. She turned around and found Tyler's mother leaning up against her car.
"So," Kristina said to her. "Are you 55 or 5? I know you look old, but looks can be deceiving and you act like a child so which is it?" She asked as she approached the boy's mother.  "What did you say to me?" The woman asked. "I think the question was pretty clear considering I didn't hide mine in a fake ass cough. What's your problem?" Kristina replied, knowing damn well Parker wasn't there to stop her from kicking this lady's ass. "My problem is they got all of you gays in everything now. First it was my television, now it's my son's school."  Kristina was fuming. "Ya think? We're everywhere you ignorant redneck asshole. Just because you don't approve, doesn't mean we don't exist. Get your head out of your ass woman." She said and turned around to walk away before things got out of hand.
"Go on then! Walk away." The lady continued talking. "You faggot ass wife needs to do the-" She didn't get much else out before she felt her head hit the hood of her car. "Do NOT disrespect my wife." She said calmly. "I could literally ruin your life lady. Leave me alone, leave my wife alone, and leave my son alone. God help you if you don't." She told her before she let go of the woman's hair and walked away. "If you think I'm playin," Kristina told her as she got into her own car. "Try me." She said and she started it up and drove away.
