Migs

"Sweetheart what do you want to eat?"

I heard Lev asked sweetly sitting across me in the round table. We are going to eat in a fancy restaurant malapit sa beach na siya ang nagpilit na puntahan dahil masarap daw ang pagkain dito kasabay ng maalat na ihip ng hangin. 

"Anything." I stared at the menu and sighed when I saw no chicken dish. It's all seafood! No meat at all. Well, there's veggies but I am not fond of them.

"I know that face, don't give it to me. I brought you here because you have always been eating chicken."
He said as a matter of fact.

We have been going out as friends for three weeks now. Dinadala niya ako sa mga restaurant na hindi ko pa napupuntahan ever since I went back here in the Philippines.

"Just order anything for me Lev. "
I said and crouched on the table, my chin on my hands leaning on the edges.

He was still ordering our food when I saw a familiar bulk entering the restaurant. His hair is dyed ash grey now, mas nadepina na rin ang kanyang mga biceps at triceps dahil sa fit black Abercrombie t-shirt  niyang sout pinares ng puting slacks. He is always going to formal and hot.

I stood up. Napatingin sa kin ang lalaki at naglakad siya patungo sakin. Malalaki ang hakbang at matamang nakatutok sakin ang mga mata.

Hindi ko napansin si Lev and his puzzled look kung hindi niya ako hinawakan.
"Hey sweetheart, something wrong?"

Hindi ko siya masagot dahil nasa tapat ko na si Aerol. He always smelled sweet for a man.

"Couz." he said lazily and his eyes drifted to the hand holding my arm up unto the owner.

Lev stood up, they almost have the same height. Nagtitigan sila. Tila tinatantya ang sitwasyon. I can sense competition between them.

"Who is this Migs?"
Aerol said , ni hindi pinuputol ang titigan nila. Kung hindi ko sila kilala ay iisipin ko na may something sa kanila.

Hinigit ako ni Aerol  gamit ang kamay ko patungo sa tabi niya pero hindi ako binitawan ni Lev. Damn these guys.
They kept on doing that for the third time bago pa naubos ang pasensya ko.

"Can you just fckng cut it out?"
Natuahan ang dalawa. Umupo ako dahil dumating na rin ang order. Napansin ko ang tingin ng ibang naroon at tinapunan ako ng hiya.

"What are you doing here Aerol?"
I looked at my cousin with an eyebrow raised habang kumakain. Well the food is really great.

"I was looking for you and from the information I collected you are out here, so yeah." damn, he's at it again. He always does that even in the U.S. because má and pá entrusted me to him. Talk about a very caring cousin. Though he's annoying almost all the time, he is always there for me rain or shine.

The two of them still have something like an electromagnetic aura coming out in their eyes and meeting halfway.

Bahala nga kayo.

Hanggang sa mag desert ay ganun parin sila. Kaya naman minabuti ko nang i-confront ang dalawa. I can't stnd situations like this.

"Seriously, what's up with you guys? You just met but you are already fighting?"

They both looked at me with their puppy eyes. Kanina pa ako nagtitimpi sa dalawang to. Ni hindi ako nakakain ng matino kasi parehong gustong kunin ang atensyon ko.

"Who's he?"
Sabay pang tanong ng dalawa.
Argh! They are really getting into my nerves!

"Okay, okay."
It is way better to introduce them to each other. Para wala nang gulo.
