"Its like you've been dead for years..." -Isabelle Lightwood ••••
Hands gripped the sides of the coffin, trying to figure out where she was. It was dark, there was no doubt about that, but the smell of death had gone around in the air. The brunette's hands groped around the wooden box, her hand finally latching onto a plastic flashlight.
She quickly turned it on, looking around the small box, which wasn't as small as it seemed. She moved the flashlight to her right, screaming as she saw a decaying skeleton beside her, its jaw had fallen to the side as its head was centimeters from hers.
She closed her eyes, trying not to panic as she banged against the top of it, it hurt her arms after a while, making her sigh in frustration. The wood had rotted, making it finally break as she quickly crawled out of the hole, holding her breath as she waited to get to fresh air.
It wasn't long before her hand finally broke free from the ground, clawing at the wet soil to get to the top. She was halfway up before she knew it, using the last of her strength to pull herself out as she started to breathe heavily.
It was a few minutes after when she finally stopped, seeing the headstone beside her. Here lies Allison Argent Beloved Daughter and friend.
The brunette cringed at the last name Argent. Why 'silver'? She felt a slight pain in her shoulder, the girl pulling at the dirty jacket and trying to see a mark that was there, it jogging a memory of her looking in the mirror to see it.
The girl dusted off her black dress, as she started walking, having no idea where she was or where she was going.
"Allison!" It was the sound of a boys voice, it rattling around her skull as she tried to remember who that was. She shook her head as she found a store digging in her jacket pocket to, hopefully, find money, a surge of relief surging through when she finds a twenty dollar bill.
She wasn't hungry at the moment, the only thing she really wanted was some water or something to drink. She grabbed a water, glancing over at the blonde haired boy as he gave a wave.
She quickly shook her head, setting it on the counter as she paid, walking out of the store quickly. That was all it took as her jacket slipped off her shoulder, showing the top of the tattoo there.
This had caught the boy's attention. "Wait!" He pushed out the door, running towards her as he spun her around, her worn out sneakers kicking up loose gravel. "You look lost?"
The bottle of water in her hand was half empty, then she shook her head, dirt still falling loosely. "I guess you could call me that."
He stuck his hand out, the girl hesitantly shaking it. His eyes widened at her soft grip,, his one blue, one brown eye looking up at her before he announced his name. "I'm Jace."
