The secret

~*Howlers Secret*~

Howler looked around and for the first time she felt at home even though she knew she couldn't stay "Wow you have a nice place" Howler smiled. Papyrus approached Howler overjoyed "Wowee! Sans you made a friend!" Sans smiled and shrugged "yea she's new to Snowdin, her name is Howler". Papyrus smiled even wider and shook howlers paw "So nice to meet you! I am the great papyrus!" Howler had a confused expression on her face as she looked at Sans then papyrus "are you a god or something?" Papyrus and sans laughed. Sans went next to howler and responded to her question "no howler hehehe he calls himself the great papyrus because he wants to be a member of the royal guard". Howler looked even more confused "what's the royal guard?" Papyrus explained to howler that the royal guard was a team of warriors who protect all monsters here in Snowdin. "But sadly, Undyne doesn't think I'm ready to join the royal guard so I'm trying to prove to her I am ready by capturing a human! NYEHEHE" Howlers smile started to turn to a worried and scared expression. Sans noticed Howlers expression "Howler are you ok?". Howler was stuck in a flashback of her past with humans, she remembered how dangerous they were. "Papyrus i-i'm not sure it's a good idea to try to capture a human..."  Papyrus laughed once more "not to worry fellow monster!, I the greeeat papyrus will capture this human easily with my amazing puzzles NYEHEHEH" as much as howler loved papyrus's enthusiasm she didn't smile nor laugh she just had that same expression on her face. Sans started to worry about Howler "Howler...what's wrong?" Howler looked at Sans and sighed "...I just had a rough past with humans....they were cruel...and untrustworthy...they used me as a weapon and hit me with chains Every time I didnt listen to their orders...They made me kill..so many innocent people...and the more people I killed...the more I was feared...and was called a nightmare...a monster...a child's worst fear..." Howler looked away from Sans and at the ground clenching her arm with her paw as she spoke. Sans had a shocked expression on his face he analyzed howler and saw that there was broken chains on her ankles and wrists he saw scars every where he looked. "Howler i-i'm so sorry..." Sans placed his hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her but Howler moved away and cleared her throught "well it's alright...I got used to it eventually.." Papyrus looked sad "I'm so sorry Howler, but don't worry the great papyrus shall cure your sadness with some spaghetti!!" Sans smiled and laughed "what do you say howler? You wanna hang out with some bone-heads?" Sans laughed at his own joke and howler laughed at it too, but papyrus didn't appreciate it "SANS OH MY GOD!!" Sans laughed once more then looked at papyrus "pfftt sorry bro" sans smiled looking all inocent. papyrus sighed "it's alright sans, now howler you wait here while I go make you some spaghetti!!" Papyrus ran inside the kitchen and started cooking. Howler sat down with a huff and crossed her arms behind her head, letting her head rest against them. Sans sat next to howler and rubbed the back of his head as if he was to nervous to ask something. Howler looked at Sans concerned "what's up Sans?" Sans sighed and looked at Howler with an upset look on his face "Howler...can I ask you some questions..about your past..?" Howler didn't answer for a moment then nodded. Sans sighed and asked his first question "who are your parents?" Howler looked at the wall for a moment then back at Sans "...i don't have any...." Sans raised an eyebrow "so your an orphan?" Howler shook her head "no...I don't have any parents...I wasn't born...i was created" Sans eyes widened "Wow really!? Well...what were you created to do?, like what's your purpose?" "I-I...was created t-to Destroy...I....dont know what my purpose is...the humans told me my purpose...was to obey them...and destroy everything in my path..." Howlers voice trembled scared that sans wouldn't want anything to do with her after she told him. Sans rubbed the back of his head then looked at Howler with sorrow in his eyes "Wow...thats harsh....im so sorry howler...but I know for sure you weren't created to destroy" howler looked at Sans surprised "oh yea...look at me sans I'm a monster...i killed...so many...innocent...people..." her ears went down and her eyes teared up as she looked at the ground. "I took so many lives...and for what...they didn't deserve to die...." Sans looked at Howler feeling even more bad for her he went next to her placing his hand on her shoulder comforting her. "Howler you may be a monster to them..but to me your someone who is just looking for a second chance...and who is searching for a friend..." Howler looked up at Sans her left eye leaking black tears she looked away from Sans wiping the tears away "...then who am I..." Howler asked her voice trembling. Sans smiled "that's easy, your a kind, caring, and most of all...a perfect friend" Sans blushed blue. Howler looked at Sans and hugged him feeling happy that someone finally understands her. Sans blushed dark blue and hugged Howler back. Howler stood up and smiled at Sans "thanks sans, I needed that" she went upstairs to the bathroom to clean up and sans just sat there blushing. "Oh. My. God...she hugged me!!" Sans ran around the house yelling "OHHHHH MYYYY GODDDD!!" papyrus raised and eyebrow at Sans then smiled and laughed and went back to cooking. Sans started to get exhausted so he teleported to the couch breathing heavily. He lifted his arms in the air with fists and yelled "WOOO" he placed his arms back down and took a nap. Howler snuk behind the couch hearing sans's snore getting louder and louder she smiled and popped up and yelled "BOO!" Sans fell off the couch alarmed "AAAAH!!" Howler laughed and teleported in front of sans "HAHAHA gotcha you lazy bones" Sans fell upside down and laughed with howler. A couple hours later Howler ate the delicious spaghetti dinner with her new friends. She stood in the door way about to leave. She turned around facing sans and papyrus they both looked like they didn't want howler yo leave "well, good bye you two thank you for everything" sans and papyrus smiled and hugged Howler, she hugged them back then turned and walked ou the doorway in to the forest, she had so much fun she had forgotten why she came, to get rid of that human and make her suffer for what she did. Howler walked deeper into the forest looking for the human child she saw the two big doors she had exited creek open she quickly hid behind a tree and peeked over her shoulder watching as the human walked out. Howler stared at the human confused of why her hands had something white on them. Howler waited until the human walked far enough not to see her she ran in front of the doors and opened them, and Howler saw what she feared would happen. There was a pile of dust. Howler's paw trembled  into a fist as here eye started to flame. She turned and slammed the doors behind her she caught up to the human and accisently stepped on something she took a step back and looked down "A stick?" She asked herself confused. The human turned around alarmed at hearing something snap and break Howler disappeared into the shadows as the human turned back around walking. Howler walked up behind the human and said "your a long ways from home aren't ya" the human slowly turned around and fell back petrified at seeing howler so close. Howler took one more step forward and looked down at the human "Listen, I don't take kindly to humans coming around here especially Hostile ones...and if you ever try to kill another monster so help me, I will make sure yo u never come back to this world ever again" howler growled showing her sharp blood pointed teeth. The human  stood up and held a stick pointing it at Howler as if trying to threaten her. Howler looked at the stick and snatched it from her hands and broke it in half she threw the sticks into the woods and gave the human a death look. The human breather heavily scared and turned and ran. Howler crossed her arms and her ears went back "why didn't you kill her Howler?" Something came out and looked like howler but a shadow. Howler looked at her mad that she wasn't in her shadow like she was supposed to be "Nightmare I told you, your true form isn't going to come back yet" Nightmare crossed her arms and growled "it's your fault i'm like this" howler rolled her eyes "well maybe you should think before you decided to betray me now get back in my shadow!" Nightmare growled then went into Howlers shadow. Howler walked through the forest then vanished she reappeared at one of papyrus's puzzles and watched as the human walked through it as papyrus true to explain how the puzzle went. Papyrus looked a bit upset then whispered to sans and said "I wish we got a human that liked puzzles..." sans sheiged then looked at the human and gave her a warning look. As the human skipped the puzzles howler grew more angry she wanted to get rid of the human but she had to wait for the right time. Howler watched as papyrus held his arms open and the human held a knife howler became alarmed and was confused at where the human got the knife and why their LOVE was increasing howler couldn't wait any longer she stepped out of the shadows and went in between of papyrus and the human holding one of her blades.
