Ryan's POV
It was an average sunny morning. Beautiful days like these were almost always spent playing with my three year-old daughter. I picked her up, tossing her in the air and laughed as she wildly grabbed for my arms. She loved it when I did that. My girlfriend, Taylor, knocked on the door lightly, lingering in the doorway. I stopped and looked at her. "What's wrong, babe?"

She sighed, biting her lip and staring at the floor. "I'm leaving. This isn't working out, and I'm taking Anya with me." She looked at our daughter with a fake smile plastered on her face. "Come here, honey. Mommy's gonna' take you home. Your real home, with me." Taylor had already packed their bags, so by the time I understood what had just happened, she was gone and had taken Anya with her.

I didn't even get to say goodbye.

Four years later

Brendon's POV
I chased Anya around the house along with my own son, Andy. He was three, and Anya was seven. I caught them both and we started laughing, but it was short lived. My girlfriend Taylor walked in the room, a solemn expression on her face.

"I'm leaving, Brendon."

I stared at her, my mouth dropping open. Anya and Andy were right there, and she decided this was the time to drop a bombshell on me? What even happened to us? "What? Y-You can't just leave...W-What about the kids?"

"What about them?"

"You can't just leave them."

"Well, I'm going to. I'm leaving them with you." Taylor just walked out the door and left me to my own devices. I stood there, staring at the place she once stood. I didn't understand; things had been going so well between us. I couldn't think of why she would ever want to leave us, especially not the kids.

"Daddy, what's going on? Where's Mommy going?" Andy asked, tugging at the hem of my shirt. I looked down at him, choking back tears and smiling.

"She's just going to be away for a while. Anya, are you-" I started to ask, but I stopped myself when I saw her face. Wet lines ran down her cheeks, and red splotches were forming around her eyes.

Anya looked up at me. "This is what happened to Daddy. He left us." I felt my insides burning. Both of Anya's parents abandoned her. How could they do that to such a sweet little girl? If I ever get my hands on that son of a bitch, he's going to wish he never left, I thought, biting the inside of my lip.

I heard a knock at the door.

Ryan's POV
I was looking for Anya for four years. Four years. I couldn't see her beautiful face, hear her laughter, feel her warm hugs-nothing. It was just my imagination that allowed me to do so.

I walked up to a large white house, the spitting image of a perfect nuclear family's residence, and knocked on the door. As I waited for it to open, I allowed my thoughts to wander to images of whoever this jerk was taking my daughter to some stupid neighborhood barbecue and kissing my girlfriend and living my life. My chest started to burn with absolute rage.

The lock clicked, snapping me out of my visions. The doorknob slowly rotated, pulling the door inward, revealing a familiar face that caught me by surprise.

Brendon stood in front of me with his mouth agape and his eyes wide. Brendon Boyd fucking Urie.

"R-Ryan...What brings you here?" he asked, looking as nervous as I felt. I heard a small voice behind the door, and Brendon turned to hush it.

"I-I'm looking for my daughter Anya," I explained, leaning to the side a bit to see who he was talking to. This made Brendon close the door a little bit.

"Your...Your daughter?" I nodded at him. "Anya is your daughter?"

I tilted my head. "It took me four years to find her. I tracked her down to this address. Brendon..." I trailed off, taking in a deep breath. "Do you have her?"

"You were with Taylor?" he asked, ignoring my question.

"Yes, I was. Until about four years ago. She left and took Anya with her, and I want to see her. Do you have her?" I asked again, agitated.

Brendon raised an eyebrow. "She left you? That's not what..." His gaze flicked back and forth between my eyes and whoever was behind the door. "Yeah, she's here."

My heartbeat was going a mile a minute. "Can I see her?" Brendon smiled and allowed me to enter the house. I walked in and waited for him to close the door. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, leaning against the wall. I turned around to see my little girl, much older now, standing beside the door.

"Um...A-Anya?" She was an exact image of me. Her brown eyes met mine and she looked confused. I crouched down to her height and smiled. "Hi. Do...Do you remember me?" I asked, feeling a little worried.

She thought for a moment before touching my cheek. Her eyes widened as she smiled. "Daddy!" She hugged me tightly, and I hugged her back. Before I knew it, hot tears were crying and so was I, but they were tears of joy.

"I was looking for you for so long...I'm glad I found you."

"I missed you, Daddy."

I looked at Brendon who was smiling and looked like he had tears in his eyes. I mouthed a 'Thank you' and he nodded.

Anya and I stayed that way for what felt like five more minutes. Both of us were extremely happy to see each other. I put Anya down and she held my hand and dragged me to Brendon.

"This is my daddy. Daddy, this is Brendon." I chuckled lightly and we decided to play along. I held my hand out and he shook it.

"I'm Brendon Urie."

"I'm Ryan Ross."

"It's good to finally meet you," he said, still holding on to my hand.

I smiled, watching his eyes travel up and down my face. "It's good to meet you too."

Okay, so this is a story I'm writing with my amazing friend ixMisty I asked her if she wanted to do a story together and she said sure and then I was giving really really random ideas. She told me to calm down. :/ - Cas
