Please accept my resignation letter effective today.

To CEO Ms Regina Avril Del Gozon, I am sincerely sorry for making things worse for you. I didn't mean to add to all the lies and fabricated stories that you've been through because if only I have the means to erase what was already done, then I would. You may believe me or not, but you and your family are the only priceless possession that I have and I can't even call it mine. Nevertheless, it's a family and though you may not be aware of it, for me, and we might not come from the same mother, you are a sister and no one can change that. But please accept my apology. I realize now how I've hurt you. Maybe now, it's not anymore appropriate that I become visible to you as your employee. Seeing me around and forgiving me for not telling you the truth would be too much to ask.

This isn't the first time that she visited Carla's humble apartment. Most of the time, she stays here whenever she just want to talk about things and her business, especially when Hillary's says that she's not available. However, ngayon na tinitingnan niya ang maliit na bahay ng... ng nakatatandang kapatid, she felt awful about herself and the things that she said to Carla the last time they talked. Nag-flashback lahat sa utak niya ang pagco-compare niya sa nakagisnang buhay at sa payak kung paanong lumaki at nag-kaisip si Carla. Carla, or better yet, Kaara, could have complained and demanded that she should be recognized as Hideo's first born. She could've pushed their father that she should experience all the good life that their family's wealth could offer. Etcetera. But Kaara didn't. Nakuntento ito bilang isang empleyado, hidden as a legal Del Gozon for the public to know.

Nakaupo sa nag-iisang one seater sofa si Avril ng bumukas ang pintuan. Kanina pa niyang hinihintay si Carla sa apartment nito at naka-pasok siya sapagkat mayroon siyang duplicate key na kusa namang ibinigay sa kanya ng secretary matagal ng taon ang nakalilipas. Parang tinuka ng ahas sa gulat si Carla ng makita siya, habang may dala-dalang envelope. Hindi nito inaasahan na makita siya duon. Avril immediately stood, noting that what Carla have with her was series of resume. Unang nagbaba ng tining si Carla, bago pa nito isinara ang pintuan. Hindi siya nito nilapitan. She just stood there when she spoke.
