Dark

It was so dark. So cold and so, so dark. It felt so empty, like no matter how long i would've walked it would still be the same dark and cold place. So I just sat there. How long has it been? An hour? Maybe two... The last thing I remember is being at the party. How'd I get here?

It was so quiet for so long that when I heard footsteps I jumped to my feet. They were so faint but definitely real. And they were getting closer. I knew I should probably run, but what good would it do? I couldn't run forever especially if there was nowhere to run. So I waited.

Suddenly a tall man emerged the dark. I was about to ask where were we but then I took a step back with a gasp. He had no face.

"I'm really sorry you had to wait so long" - His voice was everywhere. It was so loud and deep.

"W-who are you? Where am I?" - I wanted to ask but i couldn't speak. I opened my mouth but nothing would come out. I tried to scream. Nothing.

"Well now that we're both here, it's time to bring in the others" - he said and i could feel a smile in his voice. Others? That does not sound good.

Suddenly out of nowhere I saw a group of people coming towards me. None of them had faces, but as they came closer I realized that for some reason I could recognize every single person.

I saw my mother, father, sister, grandma, grandpa, and my cousin. I saw my ex-boyfriend, my best friends, my crush... These were all people that I cared about!

Fuck.
