matt: [takes a sip of black coffee, just as he likes it]

elizabeth: matt, i think we need to get you a girlfriend.

matt: [spits out coffee] what? why?

elizabeth: you need a girlfriend, matty.

matt: why do i need a girlfriend?

elizabeth: you never talk. you really should talk more.

matt: i talk to you. what more do you want from me?

elizabeth: that's the point. you barely talk to anyone but me. i want you to get a girlfriend.

matt: el, i don't care what you want. i don't need a girlfriend. i'm perfectly happy how i am now.

elizabeth: dammit matt, get somebody.

matt: i don't need anyone.

elizabeth: if you're worried girls won't like you, don't. my friend alice has a thing for you. i'll hook you two up!

matt: [blushes furiously] elizabeth!

elizabeth: what? she's cute! you're cute, she's cute! you'll be perfect!

matt: [lets out an exasperated sigh] fine, whatever.
