Reader's POV:

I find Ramona over at Fernando's house.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask. She is sick in bed.

"Yeah" *cough* "I'm just" *sneeze* "a little under" *cough* "the weather." She replies.

"But today is our english project presentation!" I plead.

"Then I guess you should get goin- achoo!"

"But, how am I supposed to do it without you?" I ask giving her puppy dog eyes.

"Oh, c'mon! You will rock thi- ahem!"

"Okay, fine. I'll see you later!" I call out to her. I leave her house and walk to the bus stop. Jackson, Max, and

ROCKI?!?!

I thought Jackson didn't hang around her anymore. Guess I was wrong about him. Just seeing them makes my stomach twist. She has never been nice to me, but then, is she nice to anyone?

five minutes before

Jackson's POV:

Y/N rushed out of our room looking for Ramona. Max and I grab our bags and head out. Once I reached the bottom of the stairs I hear a knock at the door. My mom walks in and yells

"It's always open..."

Rocki opens the door. What is she doing here?

My mom points a finger at her.

"Except for you." My mom says as she starts to usher her out of the house.

"Wait!" I say. My mom stops.

"Just keep it quick I want you working at school instead of slacking off like this girl does."

"Okay, okay." I raise my arms in defense. I turn to Rocki.

"Why are you here?"

"I came here to apologize." She starts. "Which, I don't do often." I nod.

"I was a jerk to you. I ignored you and I'm sorry." She takes my hands. "Believe it or not, Fuller, but you were my first kiss." I blush. We stand there staring into each other eyes until Max says,

"Well this is awkward!"

"Right." I let go of her hands.

"Right. Let's get to the bus stop." Rocki pulls me along.
