"We'll help you, we can talk later." Mina responded.

"Minari just go okay? And please check on Dahyun and Sana, they might get lost."

"You sure?"

Chaeng nodded. "And feel at home Jihyo-ssi."

Jihyo smiled at her. Then they went to the living room. Chaeng can hear them laugh and chit chat.

After a few minutes Mina checked on her. "You sure you're okay there? I can help."

"Aigoo. I told you I'm okay. Spend time with her, I know you've missed each other a lot." Chaeng replied and gestured for her to go.

After 15 minutes, Mina came again.

"I told you I'm okay." Chaeng said without looking at her, busy cooking.

Mina chuckled. "Ara. Dahyun and Sana are almost here. I'll just meet them outside."

Chaeng laughed, embarassed of herself for assuming. "Okay then. Oh by the way, tell them to buy drinks on their way, they might have forgotten."

Mina nodded and left. When Mina was gone, Jihyo came to the kitchen and approached Chaeng.

"Uhm excuse me? Can I have some water please?"

"Oh yeah sure. Hold on." Chaeng went to the fridge and got a glass of cold water for Jihyo. "Here."

"Thanks." Jihyo drank it and put the glass on the sink. Then she sat near the table where Chaeng is working.

"So..you're the one that Mina talks about."

"What?" Chaeng was a little bit surprised.

Jihyo chuckled. "Yeah, she talked a lot about you, about how close the two of you are. Whenever we talk on the phone she never fails to mention you."

Chaeng blushed, can't believe what she's hearing. "She talks about me? Why?"

"Mina is the type of person who only talks about things and people that she likes."

Chaeng did not respond, it was silent for a couple of minutes. Then Jihyo spoke.

"Do you like my friend?"

"Huh?" Chaeng was taken aback with the question.

"Do you like Mina?" Jihyo repeated herself.

"Uhm. Why do you ask?" Chaeng doesn't know what to answer.

"Well of course she's my friend. And I'm just worried. I'm not sure if she told you about it, but she just recently broke up with her long term partner."

There was no response from Chaeng so Jihyo continued. "They've been together for so long. She loved her so much but then she was left broken. She's so depressed and it hurts me to see her like that. And I know that until now she's still wounded..deep."

Chaeyoung's expression became so serious. She stopped stirring the sauce she's making.

"She might look cold on the outside but in reality she's really fragile. She's too broken and I can't even help her much." Jihyo added.

"I won't leave her. And I'll be the one to mend her broken heart." Chaeng finally responded.

Jihyo smiled. "I hope so. I don't really know you that much but you seem to be a good person. She doesn't trust anyone here aside from me and her ex. Good thing that you two are getting along well."

"I like her and I'll make sure to make her happy. I'll make sure not to break her trust." Chaeng said.

"Well, I can see that her smile is back and I'm happy for that. Please continue to be with her. I don't want to see her sad anymore. I know she likes you too, but she might not know it yet. I can feel it, with the way she looks at you and how she gets excited when she mentions your name. But she's still in the process of moving on so be patient." Jihyo replied.
