Kill me.
My mind and voice echoed the same thought. I wanted to just give up and let go.
Spirit or human, I'd already stopped caring. My body was broken, my willpower wanted to follow. I couldn't take anymore.
I screamed aloud as the needle pierced my stomach.
Please. Make. This. Stop, I prayed for the thousandth time.
Suddenly, a sharp light pushed its way into the room.
Sounds of a scuffle. Bellows. A thud, like a body landing on the ground. Footsteps my way.
Two fingers touched my hand. I stiffened.
A whisper kissed my ear. " You're safe."

It's a beautiful thing to be a writer- you get to imagine even that which doesn't exist.
The paranormal has held a fascination for me from....okay, I don't remember. But trust me, I'd be the happiest to find out that we live in a vampire-infested community or amongst ghosts. The word 'strange'- it gives life to my stories.
Writing is my passion. Long hours on the PC do wreak havoc on my eyes but nothing deters me from doing what I love. I stand a tireless writer as well as reader. And your best friend..... :)
